Indian Ambassador in Philippines Attends The Future of Power Dialogue

Makati ( Phillipines ): The Future of Power Philippines was successfully staged at the Makati Shangrila Hotel with forty-nine (49) thought leaders from the following sectors: the foreign service, religious, judiciary, academe/education, health, culture and the arts, civil society, indigenous people, business, police, as well as the government.

The Future of Power (FOP) Dialogue drew positive responses and feedback from the participants who underscored the need to bring back the soft and timeless power of integrity, respect, love, peace and truth into the core of governance and management.  This is the 67th Future of Power Dialogue and the first in Asia.

Notable participants were His Excellency Jaideep Mazumdar, Indian Ambassador; Ms. Carmencita Abella, President of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation; Ms. Vicky Corpuz, UN Special Rapporteur for Indigenous Peoples; Cultural Center of the Philippines Ms. Margie Moran-Floirendo (a former Ms. Universe); Ms. Juliet Javellana, Associate Publisher of the Philippine Daily Inquirer; Rev. Fr. Rufino Sescon Jr., Executive Director of Catholic Mass Media Awards; President of the Philippine Psychiatric Association Dr. Vanessa Cainghug, among others. There were 30% male participants while women accounted for 70% of the total number.
