Ropar (Punjab): With an aim to recognize and cherish women’s role in shaping the world’s future, Brahma Kumaris Ropar organized an event with the theme of ‘Women – The Pivot of World’s Transformation’ at Sadbhavna Bhawan.
Deputy Commissioner of Ropar, Sonali Giri of the India Administrative Service (IAS), was the main guest.
The principal of Bela College, Professor Sailesh Sharma, and Director of UNO affairs of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, S. Inderpal Singh, graced the occasion as special guests.
The program was presided over by BK Rama, In-Charge of the Brahma Kumaris Ropar service center. Rajayoga Teacher BK Anjani was the keynote speaker.
IAS Sonali Giri, BK Rama, Prof. Sailesh Sharma, and S. Inderpal Singh along with distinguished personalities such as Kamal Sheel Kathuria, Advocate Shri DS Deol, and religious leaders Maulvi Azhar Hasan, and Gurudwara Singh Sabha Kulwinder Singh inaugurated the seminar by lighting the divine lamp.
IAS Sonali Giri shared: “There will not be any man whose life has been since childhood without the contribution of women. Women should be aware of their rights. Even now, women are humiliated, rather than culprits for the wrong treatment done to women. There is a need to change this thinking towards women in society. More than 40 percent of women have been a victim of domestic violence during the covid epidemic.” She praised the social services being done by the Brahma Kumaris.
In her inspiration, BK Rama said, “Spirituality empowers women. Women should contribute towards the upliftment of society. Raja Yoga taught by God Shiva develops divine qualities and inner powers in humans. Women should not be considered weak but instead, she has a spiritual power to open the doors to heaven.”
Sailesh Sharma, Principal of Bela College, said that women and her decisions should be respected.
Shri Indra Pal Singh, the Director of the UNO affairs of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle Ludhiana said, “The holy Gurus have always given a very high status to mothers and sisters.”
BK Anjana also shared her words of encouragement.
The honorable dignitaries and religious leaders together raised God Shiva’s flag, followed by reciting the pledge of inculcating divine values in life.

रोपड़ : ‘विश्व परिवर्तन की ध्ुरी -नारी’ विषय पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के उपलक्ष में सदभावना भवन, सिविल अस्पताल के पीछे, निकट बेला चैक रोपड़ में आयोजन किया गया । सेमीनार में रोपड़ की उपायुक्त बहन सोनाली गिरी आई.ए.एस मुख्य अतिथि थी तथा अध्यक्षता ब््राह्माकुमारीज़ के राजयोग केंद्रं रोपड़ की प्रभारी ब््राह्माकुमारी रमा बहन जी ने की । सेमीनार में बेला कालेज के प्रिंसीपल प्रो. सैलेश शर्मा व लुध्यिाना से गुरू गोबिंद सिंह स्टडी सर्कल के यू.एन.ओ. मामलों के निर्देशक श्री इंद्र पाल सिंह विशेष अतिथि थे । रोपड़ से राजयोग शिक्षिका बी़.के़ अंजनी ने मुख्य-वक्ता के रूप में भाग लिया । सेमीनार का उद्घाटन वक्ताओं के साथ साथ विशिष्ट व्यक्तियों जैसे श्री कमल शील कथूरिया, एकवोकेट श्री डी.एस.डियोल, मौलवी अजहर हसन, गुरूद्वारा सिंह सभा से स. कुलविंदर सिंह आदि ने दीप जला कर किया ।
मुख्य अतिथि बहन सोनाली गिरी आई.ए.एस ने कहा कि कोई भी ऐसा पुरूष नहीं होगा जिसका जीवन बचपन से लेकर बिना महिलाओं के योगदान के रहा हो । महिलाओं को अपने अध्किारों के प्रति जागरूक रहना चाहिए । अभी तक भी महिलाओं के साथ हुए गल्त व्यवहार के लिए दोषीयों की बजाय महिलाआंे को अपमानित किया जाता है । समाज में महिलाओं प्रति इस सोच को बदलने की जरूरत है । कोविड महामारी के दौरान 40 प्रतिशत से अध्कि महिलाएं घरेलू हिंसा की शिकार हुई हैं । उन्होने ब््राह्माकुमारीज़ द्वारा की जा रही समाज सेवाओं की भूरी भूरी प्रशंसा की ।
ब््राह्माकुमारी रमा बहन जी ने अपने अध्यक्षीय उद्बोध्न में कहा कि अध्यात्मिकता से नारी का सशक्तिकरण होता है । नारी को अपनी मर्यादाओं में रह कर समाज उत्थान में सहयोग देना चाहिए । परमात्मा शिव द्वारा सिखाया राजयोग मानव में दिव्य गुणों तथा आंतरिक शक्तियों का विकास करता है । इसे अपनाने की अत्यंत जरूरत है । नारी अबला नहीं सबला है व स्वर्ग का द्वार खोलती है ।
बेला कालेज के प्रिंसीपल श्री सैलेश शर्मा ने सेमीनार में भाग लेते कहा कि हमें महिलाओं के निर्णयों का सम्मान करना चाहिए और उन्हें सम्मान भी देना चाहिए । लुध्यिाना से गुरू गोबिंद सिंह स्टडी सर्कल के यू.एन.ओ. मामलों के निर्देशक श्री इंद्र पाल सिंह ने कहा कि हमारे गुरूओं व महापुरूषों ने भी माताओं बहनों को बहुत उंच दर्जा दिया है । ब््राह्माकुमारी अंजनी बहन ने भी सेमीनार में अपने विचार रखे ।कार्यक्रम में प्रवचनों के इलावा सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम व राजयोग के अभ्यास पर भी प्रकाश डाला गया ।
