BK Sudha, Director of Brahma Kumaris, Moscow Visits Tyumen, Siberia
Tyumen ( Syberia, Russia ): The city of Tyumen was founded in the year of 1586 and is considered to be the oldest city of the Siberian Craton. The city with near to a million population is also one of the clean Regions of Russia. The infrastructure of the city constantly develops and one can see various architectural complexes built in old russian as well as in the modern style.
Brahma Kumaris Centre in Tyumen was established in the year of 2014. BK Sudha Didi was on a spiritual tour for serving the BK family and the people of the beautiful city. The weather forecast did not promise the Sun but as soon as BK Sudha arrived, the Sun began to shine. It’s a belief in Russia that the visit of guests to the city definitely brings pleasant weather.
Warm welcome program
The Tyumen divine family greeted BK Sudha with a beautiful song composed by a BK. She got acquainted with each one, giving drishti, gift and toli(divine sweet) from Moscow in the atmosphere of happiness and joy. BK Valentina from Moscow accompanied BK Sudha.
Divine service to the souls
A public program was held in the yoga studio “Mudra”. BK Sudha’s lecture “Life without worries and fears!” gave everyone understanding how to save their vital energy living in the big and noisy city.
International Day of Yoga
The International Day of Yoga festival took place in the sports complex in the center of the city. Senior Teacher of Rajyoga BK Sudha, Director of the Spiritual Development Center in Moscow and the Head of the Department of the physical culture and health Alexander Sannikov opened the festival. The festival takes place every year with the support of the Administration for Sport and Youth Policy of the city. BK Sudha gave a unique meditation practice and a lecture “Gaining inner power”.
BK Sudha presented the Diploma “Diamond of Goodwill” to Alexander Sannikov and Vladimir Bersenev, the head of the Department for the organization of events in the region as a sign of long-term cooperation.
Alexander Sannikov presented Didi a letter of APPRECIATION with warm words of gratitude. “The Department of Sports and Youth Policy of the Tyumen City Administration expresses its sincere gratitude for the fruitful cooperation, high professionalism, and participation in organizing the Day of Yoga in Tyumen”. The city holiday for IDY was held at a high level.
Program in popular city place “Boiling Point”
A Sunday meeting “How to keep peace and joy in different life situations” was held in a popular city place “Boiling Point – Tyumen” and gathered many people who are in search of spiritual harmony. Didi explained how to maintain happiness, peace and joy, what are the seeds of the soul diseases, why we feel bad. She gave the method on how to overcome the state of sadness: the more we comprehend spiritual wisdom, the more we can overcome this state with the help of our thoughts.
BK Sudha answered questions; all the participants received traditional sweets and bookmarks with blessings – inspirational phrases.

Mama’s Day and Raksha Bandhan
During Didi’s visit there was a celebration of the International Yoga Day, Mama’s Day and Raksha Bandhan. BK Sudha gave class on the theme “Power of purity in BK life”. The atmosphere was defused with the power of purity as the family celebrated the sacred festival on the Day of Mama, the mother of God’s Yagya and goddess of Knowledge, Saraswati.
Everyday Amritvela yoga with BK Sudha was a special gift as every one was fully absorbed in the Ocean of love and happiness. The BK family felt Didi’s whole hearted concern and sustenance to the family.
City walk
Daily walks around the historical center of the city were not just walking but gave BKs a unique chance to hear a lot of interesting stories.
