Hon. Bhatnagar Celebrates Holi with Brahma Kumaris Fiji

Pacific Harbour ( Fiji ): We celebrate this festival with the triumph of good over evil and the main object of this festival is love and compassion with each other. This was the statement by the Assistant Minister for Women Hon. Veena Bhatnager while celebrating Holi with the Brahma Kumaris in Pacific Harbour.

“On this auspicious day, we should get rid of all the ill-feelings towards each other and spread happiness.

“In spite of being such a colorful festival, there are various aspects of Holi which makes it so significant for our lives. Though they might not be so apparent but a closer look and a little thought will reveal the significance of Holi in more ways than meets the eyes. Ranging from socio-cultural, religious to biological there is every reason why we must heartily enjoy the festival and cherish the reasons for its celebrations,” added Assistant Minister Bhatnagar.

Hon. Bhatnagar also highlighted that Holi is really unique, aside from having a special significance and style of celebration, it is celebrated by people of all ethnicities around the country with the same enthusiasm and this symbolises Fiji’s Unity in Diversity that we all must be very proud of.

“I pray that all 365 days of the year be as merry as the day of Holi. May you be blessed with good health, wealth, long life, peace, happiness and joy on the auspicious day of Holi. Happy Holi to all.”
