Hyderabad ( Telangana ): World-renowned speaker BK Sister Shivani visited Hyderabad for two days.  Three events for guests and one event for BKs were organised. These programmes were conducted at the Global Peace Auditorium of the Brahma Kumaris, at Shanti Sarovar, in Hyderabad.

As several participants visited the Brahma Kumaris campus for the first time, they all could feel the pure positive vibrations prevailing on the whole campus. Hundreds of people registered for a follow-up meditation camp, organised and offered at all centres in Hyderabad-Secunderabad.

Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali participated in the felicitation program to Brahma Kumari Shivani, a practitioner and a teacher of Rajyoga Meditation, a form of yoga intended to achieve control over the mind and emotions.

Sister BK Shivani, Brahma Kumaris motivational speaker, stressed the need to replace the element called negativity with five times more positive energy, “dua” (blessing). She was delivering a lecture in the city at Shanti Sarovar on the occasion of the completion of 15 years of setting up of the meditation centre at Shanti Sarovar.

The program with BK Shivani entitled “Awakening with Brahma Kumaris” has empowered individuals from across the globe.  In March, Sister Shivani was awarded the Naari Shakti Puraskaar, the highest civilian honour for women in India, for her role in transforming human behaviour.

On this occasion, Mahmood Ali spoke about stress, how people these days are subjected to a lot of stress. He suggested everyone to watch Shivani’s show and learn how to maintain peace in their lives. All religions talk about the good things, and that is what Shivani talks about; her show is helping people around the globe to be happy and maintain peace, he said.

Shivani said that, although India has a rich cultural heritage and spiritual tradition, depression was on the rise. “We are running to achieve things, but we don’t take out time to take care of ourselves,” she said.

“God teaches us to keep the priorities correct. First happiness then health and wealth. If this order is followed, we end up having everything. If this priority is reversed, we go after wealth without the first two and end up having wealth but not feeling happy with good health,” she added.
