Hathras Brahma Kumaris Observe World Environment Day

Hathras ( Uttar Pradesh ): On the occasion of World Environment Day,  the Brahma Kumaris of Hathras started a tree plantation initiative.  For the purpose of demonstrating a Yogic Home Garden, planting was also done in earthen pots at the Anandpuri center of the Brahma Kumaris.

BK Shanta, while speaking on this occasion, said that today we are busy constructing clusters of concrete, whereas the need of the time is to create clusters of trees to save the  environment.

Because of the coronavirus induced national lockdown,  no public function was held to mark World Environment Day.  In addition to the above-mentioned initiative, at the Chaitanya Dham Colony roundabout, Municipal Councillor Ashish Sharma also planted a sapling to kickstart the plantation drive under the “My Bharat Green Bharat” campaign.  BK Shanta was also present on this occasion.

The Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation, in collaboration with the Brahma Kumaris, is currently running a “Clean and Green Bharat Through Values and Spirituality” campaign.

BK Monika, BK Gajendra, BK Rajesh and BK Dinesh were also present on this occasion.
