Hathras ( Uttar Pradesh ): BK Shanta from the Indrapuri colony, Hathras center of the Brahma Kumaris, has been awarded the Gem of Ideal Education Award 2019 by ‘Adarsh Shiksha Ratna’. She was given this recognition under the program called ‘Adarsh Sanskarshala’, Ideal Character Building, by an organization called Ideal Youth Center, Adarsh Yuva Sanskriti, in Mathura.
She was awarded for her services in the fields of education and social service under initiatives such as “My Bharat, Intoxicant-Free Bharat” and “Touch the Light,” being run by the Brahma Kumaris.
Head of the Uttar Pradesh State Children’s Commission, Mr. Vishesh Gupta, conferred this award upon her. At a ceremony held at R.C. Girls College in Mathura, BK Shanta accepted this award on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris organization, in the presence of the members of the award-giving organization along with program coordinators Deepak and Suman Goswami. The entire Brahma Kumaris family of Hathras congratulated her for this award.
