Grand Launch of Campaign “Maharo Rajasthan, Samrudh Rajasthan,” Message from Rajasthan CM

Jaipur ( Rajasthan ):  A Mega campaign म्हारो राजस्थानसमृद्ध राजस्थान”  (“Maharo Rajasthan, Samrudh Rajasthan” – A Socio-Spiritual Awareness campaign ) is being organized by the Brahma Kumaris from September 4th to 22nd, 2019, across all 33 districts of Rajasthan through 6 Rallies.

The grand launching program and Flag off to 6 Rallies took place at Sushrut Sabhagar, SMS Hospital, Jaipur, in the presence of Honorable  Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, Cabinet Minister of Transport, Soldier Welfare, Government of Rajasthan, and Honorable Subhash Garg, Minister of Medical & Health, Technical Education (Independent Charge), Sanskrit Education Department (Independent Charge), Public Relation, Government of Rajasthan.

Honourable Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas lauded the broad vision and enthusiasm of the Brahma Kumaris. He said that their record in service towards humanity is illustrious with many successes. Tackling these social problems through administrative means alone is not enough; spiritual power therefore is the need of the hour. Brahma Kumaris sisters use this power to good effect to uplift society through yogic power.

Appreciating and congratulating the Brahma Kumaris for taking up this campaign, the Transport Minister said, “Brahma Kumaris have taken this initiative for making the whole Rajasthan properous. Brahma Kumaris are the message and source of inspiration that will bring revolution in the whole of Rajasthan. Organisations which don’t live for the self but live for the benefit of the world, the message is received by the whole of humanity and the world.”  He was impressed to hear about the 10,000 heart patients who received treatment from Dr. Satish Gupta at the Brahma Kumaris Head Quarters.

BK Bharat, President of the Social Activity Group of the Brahma Kumaris, while introducing and lauding the 108 campaign passengers to the audience, shared the vision behind the inception of this campaign. The burning social issues of drug addiction, farmer distress, heart ailments, water scarcity and energy resource depletion need urgent and able handling. The Brahma Kumaris organization decided to contribute its manpower as well as spiritual power and vision to offer lasting solutions to these chronic issues.

Honorable Subhash Garg, Minister of Medical & Health assured all help and support to this campaign on behalf of the state government. He conveyed the personal good wishes sent by CM Shri Ashok Gehlot for this initiative. He said that today sensitivity, secularism and human values are on the decline. Improvement of human beings is the work done by Brahma Kumaris. This should be encouraged and appreciated. Rajasthan can be made truly prosperous if the mentality of its people is prosperous. Integrity in thought, word and deed is needed for this.

September 24, 2019, will be the grand finale of this campaign at Mount Abu.

A pledge on energy conservation was also shared with the audience.

Secretary of Social Activity Group; BK Komal, Mahamantri of Social Activity Group; BK Manorama, Chairperson of the Religious Wing of the Brahma Kumaris, shared their blessings and good wishes on the occasion.

This mega campaign is aimed at creating awareness on social, environmental and health issues where renowned subject matter experts will address the issues.

Various programmes would be conducted under the campaign in different organizations on the following themes:

  • De-addiction &  Healthcare
  • CAD & Heart Disease free Rajasthan
  • Water Conservation
  • Energy Conservation
  • Cleanliness & Environment Protection
  • Rural Development & Sustainable Yogic Farming

Six different routes of the Campaign include:

  • Jaipur to Bikaner
  • Jaipur to Alwar
  • Jaipur to Dungarpur
  • Jaipur to Udaipur
  • Jaipur to Mt. Abu
  • Jaipur to Barmer to Sanchor
