Ludhiana ( Punjab ): The Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana celebrated the inauguration of their newly renovated center, which is named Shiv Shakti Bhawan – the place that spiritually shaped and morally empowered millions of people in Ludhiana for the past 40 years through the spiritual knowledge of Raja Yoga. Brahma Kumaris Punjab Zone Incharge Rajyogini BK Sister Prem, Special Guest Gynaecologists Dr. Pooja from DMC&H, Kotkapura center Incharge BK Sister Sangeeta, SubZone Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana BK Sister Saraswati, inaugurated the building with ribbon-cutting and cake-cutting ceremony.
At Shiv Shakti Bhawan, hundreds of BKs regularly practice Raja Yoga Meditation, the spiritual journey to discover the self as a divine, peaceful, and powerful being of light and enables to establish this original self again by connecting with the Supreme Being of Light, God. This special place has served people from all walks of life through a 7-day meditation course, workshops, kids camp, motivational sessions, and many more inspiring events that take place here from time to time.
The day became more joyous for all as Diwali celebrations were held in the evening at Vishwa Shanti Sadan, the Brahma Kumaris Retreat Centre in Ludhiana. More than 1000 BK’s, friends & family assembled to celebrate the festival with great fervor and delight. Brahma Kumaris Senior Sisters shared the spiritual significance of celebrating this eve, followed by candle-lighting, and a colorful cultural program of Bhangra and Giddha by child artists.
Dr. Pooja congratulated all for the newly inaugurated building and thanked everyone for making her a part of this celebration.
Everyone rejoiced the inauguration program and spiritual celebrations of Diwali. The program ended with serving holy sweets to all.
