Grand 81st Birthday Celebrations of BK Nirwair in Tapovan

Abu Road ( Rajasthan ): The Brahma Kumaris Headquarters in Abu Road celebrated the 81st birthday of Rajyogi BK Nirwair, Secretary General of the Brahma Kumaris, with a grand celebration in Tapovan.

Many prominent personalities came to join in the celebrations, including Dadi Janki, Head of the Brahma Kumaris; Rajayogini Ishu Dadi; BK Karuna, Media Head of the Brahma Kumaris; BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of the Brahma Kumaris; BK Atam Prakash, Editor of Gyanaamrit; and BK Dr. Banarasilal Shah, Director, Everhealthy Hospital, Mount Abu. Senior Rajayogis BK Gopal and BK Bharat’s birthday were also celebrated at this function.

Dadi Janki, while wishing BK Nirwair a very happy birthday, said that he is a wonderful example of sacrifice, penance and divine service. There was a beautiful cake cutting ceremony and cultural programs to mark the occasion.

Born on 20th November, 1938, in undivided Punjab, BK Nirwair is now the Secretary General of the Brahma Kumaris. He is also the Managing Trustee of the Global Hospital and Research Center, Mount Abu, and Vice President of the Janki Foundation for Global Health Care, London. He served in the Indian Navy for nine years as an electronics engineer. In 1959, under the guidance of Prajapita Brahma, the Founder of the Brahma Kumaris, he dedicated himself totally to Godly service.

He has been bestowed with many awards for his selfless service to humanity over the years, including the “Rising Personalities of India Award” by the International Penguin Publishing House in 1999 and the Morarji Desai Peace Education International Award by the Governor of Gujarat in 2001. With his divine personality, he has been an inspiration for Brahma Kumars and Kumaris from across the globe.
