Kohima (Nagaland): Brahma Kumaris Kohima centre organised a programme to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Brahma Kumaris on the theme “Global Cooperation for a Better World” at the Angami Public Organisation Hall.
The occasion was graced by V Shashant Shekhar, Principal Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Nagaland; Dr. Kepelhousie Terhuja, President, Angami Public Organization; Jonas Yanthan, Vice President, Lotha Hoho, and Carol Lotha, senior member, Peace Channel Nagaland, as special guests.
BK Charlie Hogg, Co-ordinator of Brahma Kumaris Australia, and BK Sister Jayanti, Director of Brahma Kumaris in Europe and the Middle East, also shared greetings through virtual. Earlier, the objective of Brahma Kumaris and welcome address were delivered by BK Rupa, Centre In-Charge, Brahma Kumaris Kohima.
A Sumi cultural song and skit based on the theme were also presented by students.
