Iglas ( Uttar Pradesh ): Brahma Kumaris, Indraprastha situated at Harpal Nagar celebrated Annual function in a grand manner. On the eve of annual function dance competition was arranged in which child celebrities stole the show.
Child artist Kalpana gave an emotional presentation on the tune of ‘Shubh din ayo'(Good day has come) while the invited guests were greeted with badge and bouquet by BK Shanta, BK Hemlata, BK Durgesh and BK Sweta.
The Chancellor of Mangalayatan University Dr K B S M Krishna & Mrs Krishna, Manager of L K D Senior Secondary School Harimohan Agarwal, Former Headmaster of Shivadan Singh Inter – College Yogendra Singh, Advocate Ravi Prakash Sharma, BK Shanta, BK Hemlata inaugurated the program with candle lighting according to traditional rituals.
Dances by child artists in which performances on devotional songs and patriotic songs like “Teri mitti mein miljanwa, ” “mera desh rangeela” “meiyan yashoda yeah tera kanheiyan” “with Krishna hai” “Satyam Shivam sundaram” etc garnered applause.
The Vice Chancellor of Mangalayatana University Dr K B S M Krishna while sharing message of good wishes said that cultured children are the India of tomorrow. Brahma Kumari sisters are consistently doing this job for which they deserve praise.
Former principal of Shivadan Singh Inter College, Upgrades Singh said that arrival of adverse situations are part of life, whereas to overcome the same is art of life. The Rajayoga teacher of Brahma Kumaris, Shanti Bhavan at Anandpuri colony Rajyogini Shanta in her inspirational address presented a report on services carried out by this organization and attracted the attention of the public to be healthy both by body and mind by being a part of the service of world transformation rendered by supreme father Supreme soul.
In the competition Nikunj and Rishav secured third prize, Kavya secured second while Siksha got first position. All the participants were encouraged by distribution of gifts by the organization.
Centre in charge BK Hemlata expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all. BK Uma and Palak Goyel judged the competitions while BK Dinesh coordinated the program.
