Ludhiana ( Punjab ): Expanding the mission to curb the coronavirus spread, the initiative to vaccinate over-18s was taken at Vishwa Shanti Sadan, the Brahma Kumaris center in Ludhiana.
The camp was organized with the guidance of center Incharge BK Saraswati, BJP State President JP Nadda, and Punjab President Ashwani Sharma, under the leadership of BJP Punjab Executive Committee Member Advocate Bikram Singh Sidhu.
Apart from vaccinating BKs, the camp hailed with also injecting free Covishield doses to more than 150 people including local villagers.
Speaking on the occasion, BK Saraswati shared: “Working for the welfare of society is the best humanitarian and Godly service.” Adding to this, she briefed about the benefits to vaccinate as the way out of this pandemic. She also appreciated the efforts done by Advocate Bikram Singh Sidhu for facilitating free inoculation at times when people are grappling with vaccine shortage.
Extending thanks to the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Advocate Bikram Singh Sidhu said, “We are grateful to the Prime Minister of our country for announcing to access Covid-19 vaccines for free, enabling all 18-plus citizens to get their immunization done. The Prime Minister has set an example by not just availing free vaccines to all, but also aiding financial support and promising to provide free food grains every month to over 800 million needy citizens until the month of November.”
BK Pawan Batra, BK Ramesh, Amit, and Aggar Nagar area Head Sanjeev Sheru Sachdeva were also present on the occasion.
Under the supervision of Dr. Harpreet Singh, SMO of Heath Department, along with Dr. Karamjit Singh, Assistant Rashid, Dr. Ravinderjit Kaur, Yash Sharma, and Deepak provided special medical support during the vaccine camp.
The vaccination camp was extended for one more day in response to immense demand from the public.
Beneficiaries of the camp owe thanks to Brahma Kumaris, organizers, volunteers, and the medical team for helping them to get their vaccinations.

लुधियाना ( पंजाब ): भाजपा के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष जेपी नड्डा और पंजाब अध्यक्ष श्री अश्विनी शर्मा के मार्गदर्शन में एडवोकेट बिक्रम सिंह सिद्धू सदस्य कार्यकारी समिति भाजपा पंजाब के नेतृत्व में झांड़े में कोविड टीकाकरण शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। शिविर का आयोजन ब्रह्माकुमारी आश्रम में किया गया जिसमें आश्रम की संगत के अतिरिक्त आम जनता को भी कोविड वैक्सीन का टीका लगाया गया। इस दौरान 150 से अधिक लोगों ने इसका लाभ उठाया। इस अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमारीज आश्रम के इंचार्ज दीदी ने एडवोकेट बिक्रम सिंह सिद्धू को आशीर्वाद देते हुए उनके इस पहल की सराहना की। इस अवसर पर दीदी सरस ने कहा कि समाज के कल्याण के लिए जरूरतमंद लोगों की मदद करना ईश्वर का सबसे प्रिय कार्य है जिसके लिए एडवोकेट बिक्रम सिंह सिद्धू जैसे समाजसेवी बधाई के पात्र हैं। इस अवसर पर मीडिया से बात करते हुए एडवोकेट बिक्रम सिंह सिद्धू ने 18 वर्ष से अधिक उम्र के लोगों को मुफत टीके उपलब्ध कराने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी को धन्यवाद दिया और कहा कि कोविड महामारी दौरान हर नागरिक को मुफत वैक्सीन ही नहीं बल्कि खाद्यान्न और गरीब लोगों को आर्थिक मदद जैसी सुविधाएं देकर एक मिसाल कायम की है। इस अवसर पर पवन बत्तरा, बीके रमेश, अमित, अग्र नगर मंडल प्रधान श संजीव शेरू सचदेवा भी उपस्थित हुए। इस शिविर में स्वास्थ्य विभाग ब्लॉक सुधार के एसएमओ डॉ. हरप्रीत सिंह के नेतृत्व मे डॉ. करमजीत सिंह, सहायक राशिद, डॉ. रविंदरजीत कौर, यश शर्मा और दीपक ने विशेष सहयोग दिया।
