Abu Road (Rajasthan): The Mega Project “Four Awareness Campaigns in 200 Villages” was launched in the divine presence of Chief of the Brahma Kumaris Dadi Janki, organized by the Brahma Kumaris Social Activities Group at the Shantivan campus of the Brahma Kumaris Headquarters.
A gala program was held to address the burning issues of the society and to chalk out the plans to solve them by campaigns in 200 villages throughout the Sirohi District.
Pindwara MLA Samaram Grasiya, Sirohi District Panchayat Head Payal Parasrampuria, Tehsildar of Abu Road Anoop Singh, Abu Road Municipal Corporation Chairman Suresh Sindhal, UIT Secretary, Kushal Kothari, Agriculture Officer Dr. Prakash Gupta, Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris BK Mruthyunjaya, Head of the Social Activity Group BK Bharat and Chairperson of the Medical Wing of Brahma Kumaris BK Banarasi addressed the launching program and extended their good wishes.
The project which starts today will continue until Maha Shivaratri Festival for which four teams are formed. Programs will be conducted on 4 Major Aspects including – Rural Development and Consistent Farming by the Power of Yoga, Self Reliance for Conservation of Water in Villages, Drug De-addiction and Objective to Make India Clean and Healthy.
Vehicles holding slogans and large signs for the four rallies were flagged off by the Chief of the Brahma Kumaris Dadi Janki along with the guests.
Dadi Janki blessed everyone with the mantra of “Om Shanti” and Sirohi District Head Payal Parasrampuria thanked the Brahma Kumaris for arranging these rich awareness programs in 200 villages.
BK Bhanu and BK Krishna well co-ordinated the stage program and flags were handed to each of the four teams leading the campaign.
The Rural Development campaign will raise awareness on the subjects of “Consistent Yogic Farming” and the “Usage of Organic Manures” to all the villagers.
Considering the shortage of water resourses in villages, people will be shown ways to save water from being wasted with the “Self Reliance for Conservation of Water” campaign.
Villagers will be made aware of the disastrous effects of addictions and will be encouraged to quit their bad habits, to make villages totally “De-addicted”.
The “Clean and Healthy lndia” campaign rally will encourage the public to maintain cleanliness of the surroundings for a good and healthy society and to make India Clean, Healthy and Hygienic.
