New York ( USA ): A diverse group of dynamic women convened at the Brahma Kumaris office at the United Nations(UN) and shared stories of strength, courage, compassion, and solidarity. These stories filled the room with care, laughter, and camarderie. Women emphasized how much they draw strength from the Source which serves as a guiding force in the work they do.
Feminine Principle of Shakti for Transformative Leadership – Event was organized by the International Day of Yoga Committee at the UN and facilitated by the Chair, Denise Scotto, Esq.
A BK delegation including Julia Grindon-Welch, Marianne Lizana, Nalishha Mehta, Pratiba Daya, and Sabita Geer submitted a written statement and organized a workshop on the topic Women’s Transformative Leadership in a Digital Age. The event comprised of meditation, reflection, panel discussion, and audience interaction.
