Dhamtari ( Chhattisgarh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Dhamtari arranged a program to felicitate the newly elected members of the Dhamtari Municipal Corporation. Mr. Vijay Devangan, Mayor; Mr. Anurag Masih, Chairman; Mr. Narendra Rohra, Opposition Leader; and Mr. Mohanlal Lalwani, District President of the National Congress Party, were the chief guests.
Addressing all the invited Guests and the new Councillors of all the Wards, BK Sarita said, “Today it is the felicitation ceremony of our own people at our home. Newness or innovation is the Law of Nature. Change is necessary in Government Administration. It gives new direction and a Positive Change brings satisfaction in the society. With great hopes and faith, their representatives are elected by the public. Therefore, hard work done truthfully and faithfully for the society results in Development that creates History. It is a great good luck to get a chance to be a Public Representative. This is not only to be truthful to the public’s aspirations, but it is an opportunity given by God to earn the returns of your charitable service done for humanity. The only criteria for successful administration is mutual friendship and cordial cooperation. Whatever we lend to others, that will be received multi-fold in return. Keeping this Law of Nature in mind, we have to perform our duties with Goodwill, Cooperation and Compassion towards all.”
Mr. Vijay Devangan said, “Not only Felicitation, we need Blessings, too. Life ahead is full of difficulties and challenges. The responsibility to stand to the desires, expectations and hopes of the citizens is on our shoulders which cannot be fulfilled without the blessings of elders.”
Mr. Narendra Rohra also expressed that the development of City and providing amenities to Citizens will be our first and foremost priority.
Mr. Mohan Lalwani put forth his feelings that this is a unique seminar of its kind. This function makes us aware of our being responsible and answerable.
Mr. Anurag Masih was of the opinion that “The door to development opens only with the company and cooperation of all, and I have the experience that everything is possible in life with our strong will power.”
All the invited guests, councilors and the elderly men were honoured by putting a tilak, and offering turbans, bouquets and Godly Gifts.
The ceremony was commenced by the welcome song sung by BK Navneet, and the function was presided over by BK Kamini Kaushik.

धमतरी। प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय, धमतरी सेवाकेन्द्र के द्वारा धमतरी नगर पालिक निगम के नवनिर्वाचित महापौर, सभापति, नेताप्रतिपक्ष, एल्डरमेन एवं पार्षदो का सम्मान किया गया जिसमें मुख्य अतिथि श्री विजय देवांगन, महापौर नगर पालिक निगम धमतरी, श्री अनुराग मसीह, सभापति नगर पालिक निगम धमतरी, श्री नरेन्द्र रोहरा, नेता प्रतिपक्ष नगर पालिक निगम धमतरी, श्री मोहन लालवानी जिलाध्यक्ष राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस पार्टी धमतरी एवं ब्रह्माकुमारी सरीता दीदी संचालिका ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ धमतरी थे।
ब्रह्माकुमारी सरिता दीदी ने अपने स्वागत उद्बोधन में कहा कि आज अपने घर में अपनो का सम्मान समारोह है। नवीनता सृष्टि का नियम भी है और आवश्यकता भी है शासन प्रशासन में नवीनता समाज की दिशा और दशा दोनो को बदलती है। यह परिर्वतन सकारात्मक होता है तो समाज मंे संतुष्टता लाता है। बहुत आशा और विश्वास के साथ जनता अपना प्रतिनिधि का चुनाव करता है। सच्ची ईमानदारी के साथ किया गया परीश्रम न केवल विकास करता है बल्कि इतिहास रचता है। जनप्रतिनिधि बनने का अवसर बडे़ सौभाग्य से प्राप्त होता है यह अवसर न केवल लोगो की अपेक्षाओ पर खरा उतरने का है साथ में हमारे लिए भी जनसेवा कर अपनी पुण्य की पूजी जमा करने का भाग्य बनाने का मौका ईश्वर ने हमें प्रदान किया है। आपस में स्नेह और सहयोग की भावना ही सफल प्रशासन का आधार है। हम जो दूसरो को देते है वही कई गुना होकर हमें प्राप्त होता है। इस सिद्वांत को जानकर सर्व को स्नेह, सहयोग, और शुभभावना देते हुए अपने कर्तव्य का निर्वहन करना चाहिए।
इसी तरह श्री विजय देवांगन ने कहा कि हमें सम्मान नहीं आर्शीवाद चाहिए। आगे का मार्ग अत्यन्त कठिन और चुनौती भरा है। नागरिको के इच्छा, अपेक्षा और आशाओ पर खरा उतरने की जिम्मेवारी हमारे कंधो पर है जो बिना बड़ो के आर्शीवाद के पूर्ण नही कर सकता।
इसी क्रम में श्री नरेन्द्र रोहरा नेता प्रतिपक्ष ने कहा कि नगर का विकास और नागरिको की सुविधा ही हमारा प्रथम प्रयास होगा। इसके लिए हम सतत् प्रयासरत रहेंगे।
श्री मोहन लालवानी ने कहा कि यह सबसे अनोखा सम्मान समारोह है यह सम्मान समारोह हमें जवाबदारी तथा जिम्मेदारी का अनुभव कराता है।
श्री अनुराग मसीह ने कहा कि सबके साथ और सहयोग से ही प्रगति का मार्ग खुलता है। और मैने अपने जीवन में अनुभव किया कि दृढ इच्छाशक्ति से हर कार्य सभव है।
तत्पश्चात आमंत्रित समस्त नवनिर्वाचित पाषर्दगण एवं एल्डरमेन का तिलक लगाकर, पगड़ी पहनाकर, गुलदस्ता और ईश्वरीय सौगात देकर सम्मान किया गया। कार्यक्रम की शुरूआत ब्रह्माकुमारी नवनीता बहन के स्वागत गीत के द्वारा किया गया तथा कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्रीमती कामिनी कौशिक बहन ने किया।
