Positivity is necessary in the formulation and implementation of policies
Guwahati (Assam ): Brahma Kumaris Guwahati Service Center and Administrator Service wing organized an Administrators Conference at Vishwa Shanti Bhavan on the topic Excellence in Administration through Spirituality.
Participating in the conference as the chief guest, Pawan Kumar Borthakur, Chief Secretary, Government of Assam, while expressing his views said that the decision taken in the administrative field has a great impact on the common man. Many are benefited by taking quick decisions with responsibility, following the rules and norms and taking decisions. Decisions taken with positivity can bring happiness in the lives of many administrators, self-respect and sense of world and family will bring transparency in administration. Taking decisions with a calm and steady mind can bring happiness to the maximum number of people in a short period of time.
BK Asha, Chairperson, Administrator Service wing, Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation of Brahma Kumaris, Delhi said at the conference that excellence in administration comes from having a spiritual outlook, we must first be our own rulers. Recognize the treasure of your own powers vested in your mind and take welfare and transparent decisions in the wider public interest, then you can make the life of the people in the society rich in peace and happiness, with clean and responsible administration, and by which you can also earn the blessings of the public. She said that by adopting self-respect and meditation in our life, the thinking of our soul becomes positive and strong. The mind remains calm with human values. People’s life becomes free from stress and disappointment, it becomes easy to live a happy life, the same feeling is of a true successful administrator.
In the program, Sitaram Meena IAS, former Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, said that during his long administrative tenure, the practice of Rajyoga meditation leads to inner empowerment of oneself. With the power of thought we get a clear direction for making policies and ensuring their implementation in a transparent and sympathetic manner.
He said that policies should be formulated keeping in mind the interests of all the parties and whatever decisions are taken and the instructions received should be strictly followed. The practice of meditation brings strength to the mind and helps to work lightly and stress-free.
In the conference, BK Bindu from Sirsa, Haryana explained the method of Raja Yoga meditation and made it practical. Giving information about the services being provided by the Administrator’s Division, BK Harish, headquarter convenor of the Administrator’s Service Division, who came from Mount Abu, Rajasthan, said that this division organizes many programs, conferences, seminars, dialogues, trainings, campaigns etc, in different places of India.
BK Vidhatri, who came from Delhi Om Shanti Retreat Center, gave a detailed introduction of the organizing organization Brahmakumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya. He said that this institution is teaching spiritual knowledge and Sahaj Rajyoga to create public awareness and adopt values in the lives of people, in their thoughts and behavior. At the beginning of the conference, sister Priyanka welcomed and the guests inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamp. BK Jonali, Seva Kendra Incharge of Brahmakumari Sanstha of Nalbari district expressed gratitude to all the guests.
BK Hussain from Om Shanti Retreat Center Delhi conducted the program beautifully and BK Moushumi warmly welcomed all the guests and other brothers and sisters present in the conference. About 300 administrative brothers and sisters took advantage of this conference.
