Bassi ( Rajasthan ) : A program was organized at the Brahma Kumaris Service Center in Bassi, under the joint supervision of the Medical wing of Brahma Kumaris and the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of India, for the inauguration of the “Nasha Mukt Rajasthan Abhiyan” (Drug-Free Rajasthan Campaign). Along with this, a tree plantation program was also organized. The chief guest at this auspicious occasion was Kanhaiyalal Meena (Former Minister, Government of Rajasthan). BK Lalita (Center Incharge, Bassi) and BK Sunita (Center Incharge, Tunga) were present as the main speakers. Among the distinguished guests, Sudhir Mohan Sharma (Former Chairman, Municipal Council Bassi) and Shiv Kumar Pancholi (Manager, Vidha Sagar Education Committee) were also present.
On this occasion, Dr. Om Prakash (Advocate, Bar Council of Rajasthan) elaborated on the objectives of the “Nasha Mukt Rajasthan Abhiyan” and explained that substance abuse leads to the release of dopamine hormone in the brain, which gives a temporary pleasure to the person. Through the practice of Rajyoga meditation by Brahma Kumaris, the continuous release of dopamine hormone in the brain is achieved, resulting in eternal happiness in a person’s life and creating a permanent distance from addiction.
BK Sunita mentioned that the younger generation is becoming more prone to addiction due to weak mental strength. She explained that with a few days of Rajyoga meditation practice, we can completely overcome old addictions. Along with this, all the participants present at the program took a pledge for freedom from addiction.
BK Lalita explained in detail about the harmful effects of misuse of mobile phones, equating it to an addictive substance, and urged everyone to prevent the misuse of mobile phones.
Kanhaiyalal Meena emphasized the seriousness of addiction among children and urged everyone present in the program to bring at least one person to the Brahma Kumaris so that their addiction can be eliminated. He praised the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris in running the drug-free campaign in all schools, colleges, and institutions.
Sudhir Mohan Sharma stated that the drug-free campaign is essential for the development of the country and assured his readiness to provide any necessary support for the campaign.
Shiv Kumar Pancholi expressed his connection with the work of the Brahma Kumaris organization for a long time and expressed confidence that the organization will be successful in this campaign, making Bassi region drug-free soon. The program was hosted by BK Janaki.

“बस्सी ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ द्वारा नशा मुक्त राजस्थान अभियान का हुआ शुभारम्भ”
बस्सी ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ सेवाकेंद्र पर आज गुरु पूर्णिमा के अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के मेडिकल प्रभाग तथा भारत सरकार की सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता विभाग के संयुक्त तत्वावधान के अंतर्गत “नशा मुक्त राजस्थान अभियान” का शुभारंभ समारोह आयोजित किया गया। इसके साथ ही “विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस” के तहत पौधा रोपण का कार्यक्रम भी आयोजित किया गया। इस स्वर्णिम अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि श्री कन्हैयालाल मीणा(पूर्व मंत्री-राजस्थान सरकार) रहे। ब्रह्माकुमारी ललिता दीदी जी(सेवाकेंद्र संचालिका, बस्सी) अध्यक्षता एवं ब्रह्माकुमारी सुनीता दीदी जी(सेवाकेंद्र संचालिका, तूँगा) मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। विशिष्ट अतिथियों में श्री सुधीर मोहन शर्मा(पूर्व चैयरमेन-नगर पालिका बस्सी), श्री शिव कुमार पंचोली(प्रबंधक-विधा सागर शिक्षा समिति) भी उपस्थित रहे।
इस अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमार डॉ. ओम प्रकाश(एडवोकेट, बार काउन्सिल ओफ़ राजस्थान) ने “नशा मुक्त राजस्थान अभियान” के उद्देश्य को विस्तार से बताया एवं बोला कि नशा करने से मस्तिष्क में डोपामाइन हार्मोन बनता है जिस से व्यक्ति को अल्पकाल का आनंद मिलता है। ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ की राजयोगा जीवन शैली द्वारा भी मस्तिष्क में डोपामाइन हार्मोन निरंतर बनता रहता है जिससे व्यक्ति के जीवन में सदाकाल का आनंद बन जाता है एवं व्यक्ति नशे से हमेशा के लिए दूरी बना लेता है। ब्रह्माकुमारी सुनीता दीदी जी ने नशा मुक्ति की ज़रूरत पर अपने विचार विस्तार से व्यक्त करते हुए बताया कि युवा पीढ़ी मनोबल कमजोर होने से नशे की तरफ़ ज़्यादा अग्रसर हो रही है। बताया कि कुछ दिन के राजयोगा मेडिटेशन के अभ्यास से पुराने नशे को भी सम्पूर्ण रूप से छोड़ा जा सकता है। साथ ही कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सभी भाई बहनों से नशा मुक्ति की प्रतिज्ञा भी करवाई।
इस अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमारी ललिता दीदी जी ने बच्चों में मोबाईल रूपी नशे को काफ़ी नुक़सानदायक बताते हुये मोबाईल के दुरुपयोग को रोकने के बारे में विस्तार से बताकर सभी अतिथियों को आशीर्वचन दिये। श्री कन्हैयालाल मीणा(पूर्व मंत्री-राजस्थान सरकार) ने बच्चों के द्वारा नशा करने को अत्यंत गम्भीर बताते हुये बोला कि कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित सभी लोग कम से कम एक व्यक्ति को ज़रूर ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था में लायें ताकि उसका नशा छूट सके। बताया कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था का सभी स्कूल, कॉलेज, संस्थाओं में जाकर नशा मुक्त अभियान चलाना काफ़ी सराहनीय है। श्री सुधीर मोहन शर्मा(पूर्व चैयरमेन-नगर पालिका बस्सी) ने बताया कि नशा मुक्त अभियान देश के विकास के लिए बहुत ही ज़रूरी है और बोला कि अभियान के लिये मेरी किसी भी समय कुछ भी ज़रूरत पड़ने पर मैं हमेशा तैयार हूँ। श्री शिव कुमार पंचोली(प्रबंधक-विधा सागर शिक्षा समिति) ने बोला कि मैं ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्था के कार्यों से बहुत पुराने समय से परिचित हूँ एवं यह संस्था अवश्य ही इस अभियान में सफल होगी और बस्सी क्षेत्र जल्दी ही नशा मुक्त बनेगा। ब्रह्माकुमारी जानकी बहन द्वारा कार्यक्रम में मंच का संचालन किया।
