NEW DELHI: The Youth Wing of the Brahma Kumaris Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation launched a 13-day youth empowerment campaign titled “Design your Destiny” in a public program held at Sirifort Auditorium here today.
Mr. Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Honorable Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Fisheries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govternment of India, addressing this event on the National Youth Day and on the 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, said that this day reminds us of the inspirations of Swami Vivekananda, who stressed the important role of youth in nation building.
The Honorable Minister said that he would like to promote this campaign to empower youth to draw on the powers of mind in designing a brighter future for them and for the nation. Addressing the youth, he said that focus, hard work, and divine energy is important to achieve various goals in life. Like Swami Vivekananda, today’s youth should believe in themselves and direct their energies towards positivity and achieving excellence by using the tools of spirituality, meditation, and hard work.
Mr. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Honorable Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, as guest of honor said that today’s youth should spread Swami Vivekananda’s message of “Vasudeva Katumbhakam.” Addressing the youth, the Honorable Minister stressed that professionally youth have many goals, but the highest goal should be to become humane. He said that since the nation’s power lies in its youth power, India needs a youth force that is free from addiction of various types. He said that the Ministry of AYUSH has launched its centers in various healthcare institutes with special provision for meditation to address mental health and emotional well-being of patients.
BK Asha, Director of Om Shanti Retreat centre of the Brahma Kumaris, addressed the gathering and said that we want to build a nation of youth who are creators, and who design their destinies through the power of focus and visualization. She added that meditation helps improve focus, strengthen values, and create new thoughts, which are the foundation of creating beautiful destinies.
This 13-day drive themed “Design your Destiny” would be organised at several government and private youth organisations, youth groups and educational institutes, universities and colleges. This campaign would include several workshops on stress-free living, digital detox, building team spirit, time management, leadership skills, and other offerings.
The objectives of this campaign are to nurture positive thinking and healthy attitudes among youth, encourage youth to lead a life free of addiction and substance abuse, and practice meditation to be empowered to face uncertainties of the future.
The event was preceded by a gathering of 3,000 people congregated in the auditorium to practice Rajayoga meditation for spreading the message of Peace, Harmony and Brotherhood in commemoration of the 51st Ascension Anniversary of Prajapita Brahma, the corporeal founder of the Brahma Kumaris organisation who worked for world peace, unity, and brotherhood.
Prof. M K Arora, Vice Chancellor, BML Munjal University; Shubham Yadav, IFS; and Dr. Tapaswini Pradhan, Senior Consultant, Head and Neck Oncosurgery at Fortis Cancer Institute, Fortis Hospital; were prominent among others who jointly launched the campaign and addressed the youth.

नई दिल्ली : प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय की युवा प्रभाग द्वारा आज स्थानीय सिरीफोर्ट सभागार में ‘अपना भाग्य बनाए’ शीर्षक को लिए हुए , एक 13 दिवसीय ‘युवा सशक्तिकरण अभियान’ का शुभारंभ हुआ।
राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस तथा स्वामी विवेकानन्द के 157वीं जयंती पर युवाओं के लिए आयोजित इस सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए केंद्रीय सूक्ष्म, लघु एवं मध्यम उद्योग राज्य मंत्री श्री प्रताप चंद्र सरंगी ने कहा कि विवेकानन्द जैसी शक्ति हर युवा में है, परन्तु उसे दिशा और मार्गदर्शन की आवश्यकता है। मावन अपने चरित्र के बल से ही जीवन में सच्चा सुख, शान्ति, समृद्धि को प्राप्त कर सकता है।
सम्मानीय अतिथि के रूप में केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य व परिवार कल्याण राज्यमंत्री श्री अश्वनी चौबे ने सभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानन्द तथा ब्रहमाकुमारी संस्था के संस्थापक प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा दोनों ने युवाओं को जागृत करने का विशेष काम किया है। युवा अपने शरीर को स्वस्थ और अपनी उर्जा को कायम रखे, साथ ही भटकाव से बचने के लिए एक अच्छा इंसान बनने की शिक्षा लें। इसके लिए युवाओं को अपने संस्कार, चरित्र, मौलिक चिंतन और आध्यात्म को नहीं भूलना चाहिए। साथ ही नशे से बचने के लिए आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान चिंतन एवं राजयोग ध्यान करने की आवश्यकता है।
ओमशान्ति रिट्रिट सेन्टर, गुरूग्राम की निदेशिका ब्रह्माकुमारी आशा ने अभियान के शीर्षक डिजाईन योर डेस्टिनी को स्पष्ट करते हुए कहा कि सभी युवाओं को स्वतंत्रता चाहिए। भगवान ने हमें अपना भाग्य बनाने की कलम दी है। यह अभियान युवाओं में आध्यात्मिकता एवं मेडिटेशन के बल से मानसिक एकाग्रता, सकारात्मकता, गोल व लक्ष्य निर्धारण करने में सहयोग देगा, जिससे ही सच्ची स्वतंत्रता मिलेगी और भाग्य श्रेष्ठ बन सकेगा।
युवा प्रभाग दिल्ली की जोनल संयोजिका ब्र0कु0अनसुईया ने अभियान का उद्देश्य बताया कि दिल्ली तथा आसपास के राज्यों में चलाए जाने वाला यह अभियान विभिन्न सरकारी व गैर सरकारी शिक्षा संस्थान, युवा संगठनों, युवा प्रशिक्षण केंद्रों में युवाओं को सकारात्मक चिंतन, मेडिटेशन, मानवीय मूल्यों एवं स्वस्थ संस्कारों निर्माण के ऊपर प्रशिक्षण एवं आंतरिक रूप से सशक्त कराएगा। साथ साथ युवाओं को बुरी आदतो, नशा, अंधश्रद्धा, सामाजिक एवं सांस्कृतिक प्रदूषण से मुक्त करने के लिए कार्यशालाएँ एवं राजयोग ध्यान सत्रों का आयोजन कराएगा।
विदेश मंत्रालय के युवा आई.एफ.एस. शुभम ने अपने कैरियर बनाने में व प्रगति करने में कैसें ब्रह्मकुमारिस के मेडिटेशन से मदद मिली, उसका अनुभव साझा किया।
युवा कार्यक्रम से पहले, ऑडिटोरियम में आज सुबह ब्रह्मा कुमारी संस्था के साकार संस्थापक पिताश्री प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा के 51वीं अव्यक्त दिवस भी मनाया गया।
दिल्ली एवं आसपास से पधारे संस्था के तीन हज़ार से अधिक अनुयायिओं ने पिताश्री ब्रह्मा के विश्व कल्याण कार्यों का स्मरण किया, श्रद्धांजलि दी तथा देश और दुनियां में शांति, सदभावना और भाईचारे हेतु विशेष सामूहिक राजयोग ध्यान साधना की।
