New Delhi : Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India has signed an MoU with the Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu in the presence of Dr. Virendra Kumar, HMSJE ( Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment ) for spreading the message of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA – Drug Free India Campaign) among the youth, women, students etc. Accordingly, Brahma Kumaris would perform the activities as per provisions of MoU. In this regard, Brahma Kumaris has requested this Department to take up with the State Government & District Administrations, Chief Medical Officers in Healthcare establishments, Social Welfare Department for reaching out to Universities/Schools/Colleges, etc in extending the support to the Abhiyaan ( Campaign ).
In view of above, it is requested to instruct District Administrations, Chief Medical Officers in Healthcare establishments, and concerned agencies for extending necessary support to Brahma Kumaris about their involvement with the activities of the Abhiyaan ( Campaign ).
