Peace Village, New York ( USA ) : BK Raju, Senior Rajayogi, Vice Chairperson of Agriculture and Rural Development Wing, Chief Editor of Murlis(God’s versions) from Mount Abu, Headquarters of Brahma Kumaris, who was from the early days before 1969 whilst Brahma Baba was alive, arrived at Peace Village as the specially invited guest speaker for the annual Madhuban Experience Retreat held at Peace Village Learning and Retreat Center in Upstate New York. He is a master of knowledge and experience, sharing so many stories of his early days of service. His role became that of the ‘master murlidhar’ heading up the Department for editing and international distribution of the daily Godly spiritual classes called murlis.
Over 150 BK Students from all over Canada – Toronto, Montreal, and the USA – New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Michigan, New York, Washington DC, and more attended to focus on the theme, ‘I belong to Baba and Baba is mine, ‘My Baba, My Home, My Yagya”. A talk was held on the theme “the Fragrance of Madhuban” with BK Raju sharing stories and BK Dorothy presenting photos and commentary of the early days of the Brahma Kumaris. Friday was a Day of Silence introducing visits to the four PILGRIMAGE places beautifully created over the years at Peace Village in various rooms including a model of the Tower of Peace and a visual experience of the Golden Age.
In the evening all attending, still in silence, enjoyed an Avaykt meeting. Next day, BK Gayatri with translation by BK Kala interviewed BK Raju with deep and insightful questions and answers. All events were indoor and created a very loving family atmosphere of being in Madhuban.
At the conclusion, BK Raju was whisked away to serve at the Boston and additional BK centers having already served at the Edison, New Jersey centers. All attending were full and left in their flying stage with in the presence of BK Raju.
