Mumbai ( Maharashtra ): The Dombivli Center of Brahma Kumaris Mumbai organized a program called “Creating A Miracle – Celebrating Life,” on the occasion of Doctor’s Day. About 150 to 200 doctors participated in this event. After a beautiful candle-lighting ceremony, BK Sarita apprised everyone of the activities of the medical wing of the Brahma Kumaris.
Chief Guest Dr. BK Vijay Khattri, Chest Medicine, Prof. KIM Hospital, Seth G M Medical College, gave the inaugural address. He urged everyone to think of new ways to serve the society. One should always think positive and maintain enthusiasm even in the face of adversity.
Rajyogini BK Shakku, Incharge of the Dombivalli Center, said that in addition to diet and medicine, positive thoughts and vibrations must be given to all patients. God is the Supreme Surgeon, as he makes our soul pure. This is the best miracle of all.
Dr. Tara Nayak, DDGO at Ashwini Maternity and Surgical Center, and Dr. M Shetty honoured BK Shakku for forty-three years of dedicated service.
Dr. BK Kirtimala, Homeopath and Rajayoga teacher, guided everyone in experiencing Rajayoga meditation.
Dr. Sunny Purohit, President of the Indian Dental Association, congratulated everyone for this initiative and expressed his happiness about having a chance to attend a function of the Brahma Kumaris.
Dr. Gayatri Kulali, Head of the NIMA foundation, said that she has learned many useful principles from the Brahma Kumaris.
