Covid Relief Service : Brahma Kumaris Feed Thousands at MKCG Medical Hospital

Giri Road Brahmapur (Odisha): A Weeklong Cooked Food distribution spiritual service programme (19th May – 25th May 2021) was inaugurated for covid-affected patients and their relatives on the occasion of the 31st anniversary celebration of Brahma Kumaris Shantikund.

On the auspicious occasion of the 31st anniversary celebration of Brahma Kumaris Shantikund, Giri Road Brahmapur, during the lockdown shutdown period, a weeklong cooked food distribution spiritual service programme has been arranged for covid-affected patients and their relatives at MKCG Medical hospital indoor premises.

While inaugurating the programme Prof. Dr. Bharati Mishra, HOD,
Gynecology, MKCG Medical College, narrated the greatness of Brahma Kumaris in this critical pandemic period when the world is probably witnessing one of the worst phases in the history of mankind.

Joining as Chief Guest Pinaki Mishra, IPS, SP of Brahmapur, described how the courageous step taken by Brahma Kumaris will go a long way in establishing world brotherhood, peace, love, and happiness in this world.

Chief Engineer Hrushikesh Patnaik wished his greetings on this auspicious occasion for spiritual upliftment of this society.

Cornel Govind Rao, Army Ad College, Golabandh, enthused people to develop their spirituality in this critical period. Rajyogini BK Manju, Sub zone Incharge, Brahmapur, and Rajyogini BK Mala, Director, PURC, BAM, joined as Chief speaker and coordinator respectively.

Some other personalities of the locality present in this programme were Dr. Indira Palo, Assistant Professor of Gynecology, MKCG Medical College; Pravas Raju, Kuna Panigrahi and Retired Principal Krushna Ch. Patro.

Rajyogini BK Manju, BK Mala and Dr. Bharati Mishra provided food relief with divine cooked food, mask and sanitizer. Thousands of people took benefit every day at MKCG Medical College and the programme will continue until 25th May, 2021.
