Pushkar ( Rajasthan ): The Brahma Kumaris have set up a stall on “Consistent Yogic Farming” during the world-famous Camel Fair in Pushkar, Rajasthan, visited by thousands of pilgrims from different parts of the country. The only Temple of Brahma in India is located here in Pushkar. So, every year during this Fair of Camels, pilgrims in thousands from all over the country visit Pushkar to worship Brahma.
With the opportunity of this occasion, every year the Brahma Kumaris do their best in various ways to enlighten people spiritually as a process of creating a better society. This year, a pictorial stall on Yogic Farming was installed.
BK Prahlad very lucidly explained methods of cultivation with the help of Yoga to thousands of people who visited the stall. He said that we must work in the fields with joyful and benevolent thoughts in Mind. We must keep playing good devotional songs while working in our fields. This will help to spread powerful positive vibrations all over the atmosphere around the fields. This results in a yield of good and healthy crops, full of nourishing values.
The villagers were highly impressed by the ways of Yogic Farming, and agreed to adopt this method of Yoga in their fields for creating a better and healthy society.
Overall, the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris of Pushkar were very successful and satisfactory.
