Karnal ( Haryana ): The Brahma Kumaris service center of Karnal in Haryana organized a poetic conference on the theme “Confluence of Energy and Spirituality.” BK Prem, In-charge of the local Brahma Kumaris center, presided over this function. The chief guest on this occasion was Mr. Javed Khan of the Ehsas Peace Foundation of Delhi. Special guests included Deputy Commissioner of the municipality Mr. Dheeraj Kumar.
Mr. Javed Khan, speaking on this occasion said that the Brahma Kumaris organization started in 1936. Today it has more than 4,000 service centers all over the country. It has its presence in 140 countries of the world. The poet tries to mirror the social reality in his poems. He prayed to God that the Brahma Kumaris should progress more every day.
Mr. Dheeraj Kumar shared a very touching poem on the mother.
Dr. Kanta Verma recited a poem on daughters. Dr. Pratibha Mahi, Jaideep Tuli and Jai Bharadwaj, also shared their creations.
BK Prem welcomed the poets through a poem in verse. Dance performances were held to entertain the guests. The guests were also felicitated on this occasion.
