Cleanliness Awareness Cycle Rally on Gandhi Jayanti in Mathura

Mathura ( Uttar Pradesh ): On the occasion of the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi,  the Brahma Kumaris of Mathura,  in collaboration with Nagar Nigam, organized a cleanliness awareness cycle rally.  The rally started from General Ganj, Headquarters of Nagar Nigam, and concluded at the Refinery Nagar service center of Brahma Kumaris.  It was flagged off by Dr. Mukesh Arya, Mayor, and Anunaya Jha, Municipal Officer. School students and members of the Brahma Kumaris fraternity in the area participated in large numbers in this rally.

At its beginning, a flag hoisting was done at the Nagar Nigam headquarters,  followed by offering of floral garlands on a picture of Mahatma Gandhi.  BK Krishna, In-charge of Brahma Kumaris in the area, led everyone in taking a pledge of cleanliness.  She said that inner cleanliness of the mind is also extremely important in addition to outer cleanliness.  Rajyoga is an easy and effective way to ensure inner cleanliness.  It is taught free of cost at the Brahma Kumaris centers.

Anunaya Jha, Officer of Nagar Nigam, and Dr. Mukesh Aryabandhu, Mayor, spoke about the importance of sanitation and apprised the audience about the various steps being taken by the government to maintain cleanliness.

Kamal Kaushik of the Pandit Deendayal Dham Mela Committee, Sumit Verma, Councillor; Bipin Kumar, Principal of R. B. Modern College;  B. S. Pachera, Principal of UK Public School;  Dharmendra Kumar of Mathura Refinery;  Sudhir Rana, Alok Kumar, BK Ramkishan of the Media Wing; BK Manoj, BK Pinki and others, made special contributions in making this initiative successful.

 -राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी के 152 वें जन्मदिवस पर ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था व मथुरा वृंदावन नगर निगम के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में जनमानस को स्वच्छता के प्रति जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से नगर निगम के मुख्यालय जनरल गंज से ब्रह्मा कुमारी संस्था के सेवा केंद्र रिफाइनरी नगर तक विशाल साइकिल रैली का आयोजन किया गया. जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में विभिन्न विद्यालयों के बच्चों और ब्रम्हाकुमारी संस्था के भाई बहनों ने भाग लिया. आयोजन का शुभारंभ मथुरा वृंदावन नगर निगम के मुख्यालय में ध्वजारोहण से संपन्न हुआ. तत्पश्चात राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी के चित्र पर माल्यार्पण किया गया. उसके बाद महापौर डॉ मुकेश आर्य बंधु और नगर आयुक्त श्री अनुनय झा ने साइकिल चालकों को ध्वज दिखाकर साइकिल रैली का शुभारंभ किया. ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था की सेवा केंद्र प्रभारी ने सभी को स्वच्छता की शपथ दिलाई. उन्होंने बताया कि बाहरी स्वच्छता के साथ अंतर्मन की स्वच्छता भी अत्यंत आवश्यक है, और आंतरिक स्वच्छता का अत्यंत सरल मार्ग है राजयोग जो ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था द्वारा निशुल्क सिखाया जाता है.

 नगर आयुक्त श्री अनुनय झा और महापौर डॉ मुकेश आर्यबंधु ने सभी को स्वच्छता का महत्व बताया और सरकार द्वारा स्वच्छता के लिए चलाई जा रही विभिन्न योजनाओं पर प्रकाश डाला.रैली को सफल बनाने में पं दीनदयाल धाम मेला कमेटी के महामंत्री श्री कमल कौशिक, स्थानीय पार्षद सुमित वर्मा,आरबी मॉडर्न कॉलेज के प्रधानाचार्य बिपिन कुमार,यू के पब्लिक स्कूल के प्राचार्य बी यस पचेहरा,मथुरा रिफाइनरी के धर्मेंद्र कुमार, सुधीर राणा, आलोक कुमार, संस्था के मीडिया संभाग के रामकिशन, मनोज भाई, पिंकी बहन, नीलम, दामिनी, सौरभ, दामोदर भाई का विशेष योगदान रहा.
