“Clean the Mind, Green the Earth” Event by Brahma Kumaris, Borivali

Borivali, Mumbai : World Environment Day, 2019 – Clean the Mind, Green the Earth was celebrated at the Brahma Kumaris center in Borivali, Mumbai.

Invited dignitaries present at the celebration event were Mala Singh, Chairperson and MD, PEC Greening India, M.Sc. and M.Phil, IIT Roorkee; Pratima Kannan, Film and TV artist; and Meena Kaku, President, Inner Wheel Club of Borivali.

After a few minutes of silence, the event started with a brief introduction of the Brahma Kumaris, with specific emphasis on environment-friendly initiatives by the Brahma Kumaris such as India One Solar Thermal Power Plant, Yogic Farming, etc.

The Chief Guest at the event, Mrs. Mala Singh, a leading Green Entrepreneur, gave a detailed presentation on current challenges faced by inhabitants of planet Earth. She also shared useful and practical tips on what practices an individual can adopt in an attempt to save mother Earth; rather, to save ourselves and save natural resources for the generations to come.

BK Divyaprabha shared her views on the role of spirituality to raise inner energy levels. She emphasized how we need to refine human nature to protect nature.

BK Sangeeta conducted guided meditation with the purpose of sending our caring and positive vibrations to nature.

Pratima Kannan shared her experience of the last couple of weeks after learning Rajyoga Meditation at the Brahma Kumaris.

BK Kavita coordinated the event very well.

To make the day truly memorable and meaningful, plantation was done by honored guests at the garden adjacent to Prabhu Upvan.
