Mulund East, Mumbai ( Maharashtra ): The Brahma Kumaris of Mulund East in Mumbai started a ‘Clean Mumbai, Healthy Mumbai‘ initiative to lead to its ‘Clean Bharat, Healthy Bharat‘ Campaign. The aim of this initiative is to bring public awareness about cleanliness.
This campaign was started in the presence of BK Chhaya, In-charge of Brahma Kumaris in Mulund East. The members of the local Brahma Kumaris, along with 40 cleanliness workers, cleaned the 90-foot road from Mulund East to Kelkar College, YPM College, Mahatma Phule Road, and C D Deshmukh Garden. Lakhs of people benefitted from this initiative. Mahendra Patil and Bharat Bad, Supervisors of these cleanliness workers, also lent their cooperation in making this event a success.
