Guwahati ( Assam ): Rajyogini BK Sheela, Incharge, Brahma Kumaris Guwahati Sub-zone, along with a group of BK Sisters comprising Rajyogini BK Jonali, Incharge, Nalbari, Barpeta and Baska Centers; BK Vijay Gupta, Chairman, Assam Financial Corporation Ltd., Guwahati; BK Mousumi, Incharge, New Guwahati Center; BK Panchatapa, BK Uddhav Saikia and BK Romen had a courtesy meeting with present Chief Minister of Assam, Hemanta Biswa Sharma.
It was a first visit to Chief Minister after he assumed charge of his office, having been elected by the people of Assam. BK Sisters thanked the Chief Minister for the allocation of government land for construction of a Retreat Center in Guwahati and he was apprised of the services of the Brahma Kumaris the world over and especially in Assam.
He appreciated the positive role of Brahma Kumaris during the Covid pandemic and also assured of his help, if any required in future services.
