Abu Road ( Rajasthan ): The first Plenary session of the Global Summit cum Expo on Spiritualty for Unity, Peace and Prosperity was addressed by Honorable Ravishankar Prasad, Minister of Law and Justice, Communications and Electronics, Information and Technology, Government of India.
Dadi Janki, Head of the Brahma Kumaris; Rajyogi BK Brij Mohan, Additional Secretary General of the Brahma Kumaris; Rajyogini BK Santosh, Head of Maharashtra, Andhra and Telangana Zone of the Brahma Kumaris; BK Atam Prakash, Editor of Gyanamrit; Mr. Fuad Mammadov, Professor, Academy of Public Administration under the President of Azerbaijan; Mr. G. Krishna Reddy, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Governent of India; and BK Sister Shivani, respected motivational speaker and recipient of a Nari Shakti Award; were also present at this occasion.
Honorable Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Law and Justice, in his address said that he always wanted to come to Mount Abu. The energy here is uplifting. The work for women empowerment being done by the Brahma Kumaris has given new confidence to women and will go down in history as a unique contribution. It is a wonder that 103 year-old Dadi Janki is carrying forward the spiritual heritage of this country with such vigor. He urged the journalists to highlight and take to the masses the work of character building being done by this organization. He appreciated the basic principle of Brahma Kumaris, that self transformation is the only way to world transformation.
Mr. G. Krishna Reddy, Minister of State for Home Affairs, said that spiritual power shows us the right way and empowers us to fight the evils within. Rajayoga brings peace to the mind. India is a land of rich spiritual heritage, as evident from thousands of temples and places of worship present all over the country.
BK Atam Prakash in his remarks said that the Brahma Kumaris will bring the next important revolution in mankind, namely the spiritual revolution.
Mr. Fuad Mammadov said that he is very pleased to express his views from such a high pedestal and witness this beautiful country of India. For Unity, Peace and Prosperity, cultural values, morals and mental powers need to converge. Their organization has decided to honor Dadi Janki and BK Santosh with the title of “Ambassador of Culture”. He invited the Brahma Kumaris to a conference on a similar theme in Azerbaijan.
BK Brij Mohan apprised the distinguished guests and audience about the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris to bring out the divinity in man by waging mental war against the sense indulgences through Rajayoga. Yoga is the call of our times. Yoga will make Bharat the World Teacher again.
BK Santosh asked the audience to practice steadfastness in thoughts, and learn economy of thoughts and emotions. This will help conserve energy. Positive intentions lead to good results.
BK Sister Shivani also interacted with the audience and explained the real significance of the festival of Navratras, which starts today.

आबू रोड (राजस्थान) : ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्थान के अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुख्यालय आबू रोड में चल रहे वैश्विक शिखर सम्मेलन में केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारी संगठन की ओर से नारी शक्ति के सम्मान में जो कार्य किया रहा है वह इतिहास में लिखा जाएगा। भारत की पहचान उसकी भौगोलिकता, देश के नाम व सीमा से नहीं है बल्कि भारत की पहचान उसकी आध्यात्मिकता से है। ब्रह्माकुमारीज के इस परिसर में आध्यात्मिक ऊर्जा, उत्साह, शान्ति, सद्भाव का प्रेरणादाई अनुभव हो रहा है।
शनिवार को शाम के सत्र में उन्होंने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था का विश्व के 140 देशों में चेतना जागृति, ध्यान, आत्म सशक्तिकरण, राजयोग मेडिटेशन का अनवरत रूप से चल रहा कार्य साधारण नहीं है, यह परमसत्ता का ही कार्य है। परमसत्ता की सच्चाई अविभाज्य है। आंतरिक भाव से ही सत्य को खोजा जा सकता है। स्वामी रामकृष्ण परमहंस, स्वामी विवेकानंद, महात्मा गांधी आदि ने अपने- अपने तरीके से सत्य की खोज की। भारत ने दुनिया को युद्ध नहीं बल्कि बुद्ध दिया है।

केंद्रीय गृह राज्यमंत्री जी. कृष्ण रेड्डी ने कहा कि आध्यात्मिक शक्ति हमें सही दिशा दिखाती है और बुराइयों से मुक्त करती है। ऋषि-मुनियों ने भी इसका महत्व समझकर साधना की। राजयोग से जीवन में मन को गहन शांति मिलती है। स्व परिवर्तन से विश्व परिवर्तन बीके का स्लोगन है। हम उस देश के वासी हैं जिसने सदा दिया ही दिया है। 103 वर्षीय संस्थान की मुखिया दादी जानकी ने कहा कि धैर्य व्यवहार को मधुर बनाता है। हमारा भारत देवों को स्थान माना जाता है। चारों तरफ मंदिर-मस्जिद हैं। जो प्रेम, शांति, खुशी का संदेश देते हैं। संस्थान के अतिरिक्त महासचिव बीके बृजमोहन ने भी अपने विचार व्यक्त किए।
