New York ( USA ): BK Sister Mohini and BK Sister Jayanti, Additional Chief of Brahma Kumaris were the spiritual resources for the Call-of-the-Time Dialogue for North America, held at Peace village learning and retreat center in upstate New York. There were 23 guests from the USA, Canada and the Caribbean, from different sectors and generations. The theme for the dialogue was “Our Dance with Time”. The retreat was designed to fullfill Dadi Janki’s vision of serving people with a wide sphere of influence and a deep desire to serve the world.
Over the 4 days, they explored different aspects of time: the soul’s journey through time, the Supreme Soul being beyond the cycle of time, light coming into the darkness at this time, the Confluence Age, and our movement towards a new cycle of time. Participants were open to the many spiritual concepts offered and filled with a desire to share these ideas widely – through their positions in government, their networks for marketing and their individual entrepreneurial roles.
During the weekend, they spent most of the day in silence, which seemed to open their hearts and confirm their convictions that this is what they need in their lives at this time. As they shared their final thoughts, they asked if they could stay in touch, and some wanted to know where they could study rajyoga.
It was shared with the participants that Dadi Janki, who created the Call-of-the-Time Dialogues and Retreats always wanted her friends from the dialogues to be supported throughout the year as they do their important work, and they will be invited to the future retreats from July 26 – 30 at Peace Village.
