Breathe Peace this Summer: June 4 episode on Yoga

Summer is here once again. Let’s Breathe Peace this summer.

1st Episode: This episode is dedicated to the UN International Day of Yoga where we shall feature Laughter Yoga and Chants on Friday, June 4 @ 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm EST.

Laughter is the best medicine!  When we laugh our body releases a flood of chemicals and positive neurotransmitters which stimulate our brains, our immune system and our nervous system. Laughter is like an internal jogging, our blood circulation increases, our lungs expand, and the cardiovascular system gets a workout.  Research has shown that laughter results in a significant reduction in stress level and also helps with enhanced immunity and increased productivity in our work.

Now, with the advent of Laughter Yoga, we can just laugh for no reason, reaping all the wonderful benefits without depending on jokes and humor. Laughter is the universal language. The best way to dissolve boundaries between people dropping barriers of color, race or religion is to laugh together as One!
