Adyar, Chennai (Tamilnadu): Brahma Kumaris Adyar organised a huge recreational program for Avvai home and orphanage children.
Guest speakers of the program were: Dr. Srimati Kesan, founder and CEO of Space Kidz India (chief guest of the program), BK Swarnalakshmi, and BK Jayashree.
The program started through rapport building with children through games. Followed by this, children were engaged to do a group activity on the pictorial representation of “Ideal women”. Children came forward with many creative ideas and presented them in front of all. It was a proud moment for Brahma Kumaris Adyar.
India’s first private rocket VIKRAM-S was launched at Sriharikota ISRO space station on 18th November 2022 by the team Space Kidz India. After the successful launch, Dr. Srimati landed at Avvai home and orphanage and enlightened the children with powerful and positive words.
BK Swarnalakshmi narrated on why meditation is important in student life to reach one’s goal. She conducted a live meditation commentary and guided children in experiencing silence. The overall program went enthusiastically and all the children enjoyed.
About 200 children participated in this program. Pencil pouches and chocolate were given to all children. After this program Dr. Srimati Kesan along with the team visited the Brahma Kumaris Adyar centre. BK Dr. Muthumani, Director, Brahma Kumaris Adyar, gave blessings and Godly gifts to her. In the meditation room, she experienced a deep silence and stillness.
