Vijay Nagar, Jabalpur ( Madhya Pradesh ) : Brahma Kumaris of Vijay Nagar branch arranged a programme on world rememberance day in the memory of road accident victims at Pandit Din Dayal Upadhyaya International Bus Terminus.
Speaking on the event “Precautions for a safe journey” Senior Rajyoga teacher BK Vinita said that road accidents are caused because of drivers haste and anxiety to reach their destination. From the very childhood our society trains us how to be fast, be it day to day activity or studies in school and, to achieve everything faster and earlier than others is given credit in jobs. When the person comes with the vehicle on road he is told to move slowly, attentively , the change which he doesn’t understand and begins to skip rules and this carelessness causes accidents which cause many deaths and deformities for life. To escape this, we need to obey rules while on road, stay alert and vigil and save us from unnecessary confusion by practice of Rajyoga and stay in the remembrance of Supreme Soul.

Additional SP Traffic, Jabalpur said that such programmes will create awareness among people to obey traffic rules and the organization deserves praise for this. By providing appropriate service to accident victims at right time, traffic police too fulfill it’s responsibility.
Speaking on this occasion Sachin Vishwakarma CEO of Inter-State bus transport services, Jabalpur said that for observing traffic rules by common people, such programmes need to be arranged from time to time to create awareness among commoners along with the drivers and conductors of buses and trucks.
In the wake of the programme homage was paid to the deceased of various accidents and a pledge was taken to follow traffic regulations. All the police personnel of various transport stations of Jabalpur town joined the programme .

वरिष्ठ राजयोग शिक्षिका बी के विनीता बहन जी ने कहा कि सड़क दुर्घटनाओ का मुख्य कारण वाहन चालको के द्वारा अपने गंतव्य स्थान पर जाने के लिए जल्दी और आतुरता दिखाना है , बचपन से ही हमारे समाज में हर चीज के लिए जल्दी जल्दी करने की आदत डाली जाती है चाहे वह दैनिक क्रियाये हो या स्कुल में पढ़ाई में और नौकरी में हर चीज सबसे पहले और सबसे आगे पाना अच्छा माना जाता है , और जब वह गाडी ले कर के सड़क पर आता है तो उसको कहा जाता है धीरे चलो , ध्यान से चलो तो वह इस परिवर्तन को समझ नही पाता और नियमो की अवहेलना करने लग पड़ता है और यही लापरवाही ही दुर्घटना का कारण बनती है .जिस के वजह से कई लोग मृत्यु को प्राप्त करते है तो कई लोग जीवन भर के लिए अपंग हो जाते है .
इस से बचने के लिए सड़क पर चलते समय यातायात नियमो के पालन के साथ ही , सजग और सतर्क रहना साथ ही अपने को अनावश्यक भटकाव से बचाने के लिए राजयोग का अभ्यास करना और परमात्मा की स्मृति में रहना यह सब सहायक हो सकते है .
कार्यक्रम के दौरान भ्राता संजय अग्रवाल , एडिशनल एस पी ट्रेफिक जबलपुर , ने कहा कि ऐसे कार्यक्रम जन सामान्य को यातायात के नियमो के पालन के लिए जागरूकता बढाने के अवसर है . संस्था इस कार्यक्रम के लिए धन्यवाद की पात्र है . यातायात दुर्घटनाओ में पीडितो को सही समय पर समुचित व्यवस्थाये प्रदान करने में सहयोग देने के लिए ट्रेफिक पुलिस भी अपना कर्तव्य निभाती है .
कार्यक्रम के दौरान भ्राता सचिन विश्वकर्मा , सी ई ओ, जबलपुर इंटर स्टेट बस ट्रांसपोर्ट सर्विसेज ने कहा कि यातायात के नियमो के पालन के लिए जन सामान्य के साथ साथ बसों ट्रको के ड्राईवर कंडक्टर आदि को भी जागरूक किये जाने के लिए ऐसे कार्यक्रमों का समय समय पर आयोजन होते रहना चाहिए.
कार्यक्रम के दौरान सडक दुर्घटनाओं में पीड़ित जनों के लिए श्रद्धांजली अर्पित की गई , और यातायात के नियमो का पालन करने की प्रतिज्ञा भी की गई. कार्यक्रम में जबलपुर शहर के सभी यातायात थानों के अधिकारी और पुलिस कर्मी समेत बड़ी संख्या में गणमान्य जन उपस्थित थे.
