Abu Road( Rajasthan ): The Education Wing of Rajyoga Education And Research Foundation, in collaboration with Manipal International University, held an eight day training course program for PhD in Yogic Sciences. The venue was Manmohinivan Premises of Brahma Kumaris. This initiative saw enthusiastic response from people, with all age groups coming to participate from all parts of the country. Youth, elderly, professionals and home makers, all gathered together to learn the nuances of Yogic Sciences. An expert panel from Manipal University gave this training.
Rajendra Kumar Sharma, District and Sessions Judge, while addressing the inaugural session, said that students will get a chance to delve deeper into yoga and spirituality through this initiative. Yoga is our culture and tradition. Inclusion of this subject in curriculum will help increase the interest of youth towards this subject.
Prof. Dr. Harikumar, Vice Chancellor of Manipal International University, said that the reason behind including values and spirituality in PhD curriculum is to stop the falling standards of human values in the society and to make available subjects like value education, yoga and spirituality to the younger generation in research format.
Dr. Suresh Kumar Murugesan, Director of Yoga Studies Department, Annamalai University, Madurai, said that Yoga has been an inseparable part of our culture. In Bharat it’s a way of life. He hoped that these students of PhD in Yogic Sciences will benefit the society in future.
BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris and Chairperson of Education Wing, said that these students will contribute greatly to research in the field of yoga and spirituality.
BK Dr. Pandayamani, Director of Distance Education Wing, said that this training will equip the students about the various requirements for this PhD degree.

आबू रोड/राजस्थान। ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्थान के शिक्षा प्रभाग द्वारा चलाए जा रहे पीएचडी डिग्री प्रोग्राम में युवा से लेकर बुजुर्ग उत्साह दिखा रहे हैं। यौगिक साइंस में पीएचडी के लिए स्टूडेंट को बारीकियां सिखाईं जा रही हैं। दूरस्थ शिक्षा प्रभाग द्वारा आठ दिवसीय ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम (ट्रेनिंग कोर्स प्रोग्राम फॉर पीएचडी) मनमोहिनीवन कॉम्प्लेक्स में आयोजित किया जा रहा है। इसमें देशभर से विभिन्न आयु वर्गों के युवा से लेकर ब्रह्माकुमार भाई-बहनें, प्रोफेशनल्स, गृहिणी और बुजुर्ग स्टूडेंट बनकर पीएचडी के दौरान किन बातों का ध्यान रखें आदि बारीकियां सीख रहे हैं। ट्रेनिंग में डिग्री प्रोग्राम की सहयोगी मनिपाल इंटरनेशनल यूनिवर्सिटी के एक्सपर्ट द्वारा ट्रेनिंग दी जा रही है।
शुभारंभ सत्र में मप्र हाईकोर्ट के न्यायाधीश राजेंद्र कुमार शर्मा ने कहा कि यौगिक साइंस में पीएचडी करने से निश्चित रूप से योग और आध्यात्म की गहराइयों में जाने का अवसर स्टूडेंट को प्राप्त होगा। योग हमारी सभ्यता और संस्कृति है। पाठ्यक्रम में योग शामिल होने से युवाओं का भी इस ओर रुझान बढ़ रहा है।
मणिपुर इंटरनेशनल यूनिवर्सिटी के वाइस चांसलर प्रो. डॉ. हरिकुमार ने कहा कि मूल्य एवं आध्यात्म में पीएचडी डिग्री प्रोग्राम शुरू करने के पीछे यही मकसद है कि समाज में जो तेजी से मूल्यों का क्षरण हो रहा है उसे रोका जा सके। नई पीढ़ी को मूल्य शिक्षा, योग और आध्यात्म की शिक्षा को रिसर्च के माध्यम से दिया जा सके। ट्रेनिंग के दौरान एजुकेशन, सोसलॉजी और मैनेजमेंट आदि के स्टूडेंट भी भाग ले रहे हैं।

अन्नामलाई यूनिवर्सिटी मदुरई के योगा स्टडीज डिपार्टमेंट के निदेशक डॉ. सुरेश कुमार मुरदेशन ने कहा कि योग हमारी भारतीय संस्कृति का अभिन्न हिस्सा रहा है। हमारा जीवन योग के ही इर्द-गिर्द घूमता है। योग हमारी संस्कृति के साथ सभ्यता और परंपरा रहा है। आशा है कि स्टूडेंट यौगिक साइंस में पीएचडी डिग्री पूरी करने के बाद इसका लाभ समाज तक पहुंचाएंगे।
अपनी रिसर्च मेहनत के साथ पूरी करें-
शिक्षा प्रभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. मृत्युंजय भाई ने कहा कि आप सभी नए-नए टॉपिक पर रिसर्च के माध्यम से योग और आध्यात्म की नई गुत्थियों को सुलझाने में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे। अपनी रिसर्च को पूरी लगन, मेहनत और समर्पण भाव के साथ पूरा करें। दूरस्थ शिक्षा निदेशक डॉ. बीके पांड्यामणि भाई ने कहा कि ट्रेनिंग के दौरान पीएचडी के दौरान आनी वाली समस्याओं, परेशानियों आदि पर गहराई से प्रकाश डाला जाएगा। साथ ही किन-किन बातों का ध्यान रखें आदि के बारे में भी बताया जाएगा। एक-एक स्टूडेंट को उनके टॉपिक के अनुसार गाइड किया जाएगा।
