Thane ( Maharashtra ): The Brahma Kumaris of the Light House service center in Thane celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with a Cabinet Minister and leader of the Maharashtra Government. They also felicitated the doctors and hospitals, working tirelessly during the Covid-19 pandemic, with certificates.
BK Sarla tied Rakhi to Eknath Shinde, Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Public Works, Government of Maharashtra, and Ravindra Pathak, Shiv Sena Leader and MLA. BK Heena was also present.
Dr. Amol Gitte of Sidhivinayak Hospital, Vartak Nagar, along with the staff, Dr. Sunil Katghare of Shri Mahavir Jain Hospital and its staff, along with the staff of Covid Plaza, including Dr. Aayaz Sheikh, Dr. Sukesh Thakur and Dr. Adhar Kulkarni, were also tied Rakhi by the Brahma Kumaris sisters, and presented felicitation certificates.
BK Sarla also tied Rakhi to Amit Saraiya, Corporator, Savarkar Nagar.
