Abu Road ( Rajasthan ): The Medical Wing of the Brahma Kumaris organized an awareness rally on the occasion of World Anti-Tobacco Day, and spread its message in Talhati and Goliya villages. Schoolchildren from the Kiariya School, students from the nursing college, and members of the Brahma Kumaris fraternity participated enthusiastically in this initiative. The rally started from Shantivan, went through the villages, and ended up back at its starting point. With the help of slogans and banners, the message of getting rid of tobacco addiction was spread.
BK Bhupal, Incharge of Shantivan, urged people to pledge not to intake tobacco products. BK Bharat, Head of the social activities group, said that tobacco intake produces many toxic chemicals in the body that act like poison.
District and Sessions judge Mr. Kumar Joshi flagged off the rally of nursing students. Addressing the gathering, he said that the aim of this rally is to make people aware of the harmful effects of tobacco consumption. Chief editor of Gyanamrit BK Atam Parkash and Dr. Vaishali from Maharashtra were also present on this occasion.

आबूरोड : आबूरोड में ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्थान के मेडिकल प्रभाग की तरफ से तलहटी तथा गोलिया गाव में जागरूकता रैली निकाली गयी। रैली में क्यारिया स्कूल के बच्चे, नर्सिंग कॉलेज के छात्र-छात्राओंके साथ ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्थान के सदस्य शामिल हुवे। शांतिवन से शुरू हुई रैली गोलिया गाव होते हुवे पुन: शांतिवन पहुँच कर समाप्त हुई। रैली में शामिल लोगोंने तख्ती, बैनर व नारों के जरिए लोगों को तम्बाकू से मुक्त होने का सन्देश दिया। शांतिवन प्रबंधक बी.के. भूपाल ने लोगोंसे तम्बाकू का सेवन नहीं करने के प्रति जागरूक किया। सोशल एक्टिविटी ग्रुप के अध्यक्ष बी.के. भरत ने कहा
