Rewa ( Madhya Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Rewa celebrated Deepavali in an entertaining way for children living in poverty. In Divya Nagari, Nirala Nagar, they arranged a Rangoli competition for local school children. Full of enthusiasm and zeal children showed their skills by drawing beautiful Rangoli (Artistic Designs) with coloured powders. They brought Light and Illumination in festive atmosphere by lighting the lamps. They enjoyed burning crackers as if to burn off their inner bad qualities.
The Festival was inaugurated by lighting the lamps by the Honorable Guests Professor Mr. M P Pandey, Dr. A K Mishra, Mrs. Maya Singh, Human Welfare Association President and Senior Social Worker, Mr. RB Patel, Chief Manager, BK Sonal and BK Durga.
At the end Deepavali sweets were distributed to all the children.
