Brahma Kumaris Retreat with the FOP Team in Philippines

Tagaytay City ( Phillipines ): BK Retreat was held with FOP(Future of Power) Team, Center for Spiritual Learning, Tagaytay City. Connecting warmly to the 70 BK participants, BK Nizar’s personal stories of his spiritual journey, indeed, inspired many.  He manifested particularly his love for service to humanity through Serve Africa and the Future of Power.  He said that “What we are trying to do through FOP is bring people back to soft power. That means to start to imbibe values like integrity through which one is able to become  a better leader.”

His relationship with God and the seniors particularly Dadi Janki exemplifies the instrument consciousness in action.  It was a refreshing treat to listen to the insights of the rest of the FOP team from their 10-year FOP experiences.  BK Nittin, BK Neetu BK Morni, BK Stephen shared their experiences, how by knowing when to stay structured and when to let go is one of the best things they learned.

BK Stephen led the BK family to a dialogue experience which led to an increased level of trust as each one actively listened to each other.  Reflections on the process yielded appreciation, deeper understanding and connection among each other.

On the second half day of the retreat, BK Stephen took the BK family to explore the relationship between the spiritual knowledge and awareness.  He further led them to the art of focused conversation which is beneficial in the service field such as assessment and  planning of service programs, problem-solving, churning, and inner processing.

The atmosphere was filled with spontaneity, joy and love which everyone took home as gifts from the retreat as well.
