Brahma Kumaris paid tribute to Dadi Janki on her 3rd Ascension Day

Abohar ( Punjab ) : Lekhak Parishad president Raj Sadosh shared his memories of an hour-long meeting he had with Dadi Janaki at Gyan Sarovar two decades ago

On the 3rd Ascension Day of Dadi Janaki, former chief administrator of Brahma Kumaris, hundreds of residents gathered at Rajyoga Bhavan here and paid heartfelt tributes.

Center in-charge BK Pushpalata started the program by narrating the message from Madhuban. Mayor of Municipal Corporation Vimal Thatai along with Center Deputy Incharge BK Darshana, BK Sunita, BK Shalu, Raj Sadosh, Ramesh Sharma Advocate, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Dr. Ritu Gupta, Dr. Kanchan Khurana, former head of Apex Club Rakesh Nagori and Nand Kishore chief of the Bahawalpuri Samaj were among those who offered flowers on Dadi’s portrait.

Mayor Vimal Thatai said that Dadi Janaki, who lived for more than 100 years, spread the message of world transformation through self-transformation by adopting the ideals established by the founder of Brahma Kumaris, Dada Lekhraj. The Brahma Kumaris organization is now taking the form of a banyan tree and is engaged in inspiring people in 140 countries to lead addiction-free and virtuous lives.

Lekhak Parishad President Raj Sadosh shared his memories of an hour-long meeting he had with Dadi Janaki at Gyan Sarovar two decades ago. He said that Dadi Janki, was appointed as the brand ambassador of the Swachhta Abhiyan by the central government. Even now, the GOI has entrusted the responsibility of taking many important programs like anti-drug campaign, Jan Jal Abhiyan, environmental protection etc. to the masses, to the BK organization.

BK Sunita said that Dadi Janki was known as the woman with the sharpest mind in the world. She did not take even a minute to reminisce about all the activities of the organization. Even while living in Amritsar, Punjab, Dadi got the opportunity to do public welfare work through the organization.
