New Delhi : The Brahma Kumaris of Janakpuri from Delhi were awarded on the occasion of World Human Rights Day, 2021. BK Vijaya Lakshmi accepted this honor on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris from Dr. R. Kaarthkeyan, former Director of CBI and NHRC. Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Union Minister for Minority Affairs and Deputy Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha, was the Chief Guest.
The occasion was a National Symposium on ‘Equality – Reducing Inequalities, Advancing Human Rights’, held under the auspices of International Human Rights Organization in cooperation with the Office of Public Affairs of the Baha’is of India.
This program was organized at the Lotus Temple Auditorium, Kalkaji, New Delhi, attended by many prominent citizens from different fields.
