Brahma Kumaris Narsinghpur Hold Awareness Function on World Environment Day

Narsinghpur ( Madhya Pradesh ): On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Brahma Kumaris of Narsinghpur held a function to spread awareness about environment protection. Chief Judicial Magistrate of the district Mr. Dinesh Dewda, Central jail In charge Ms. Shefalli Tiwari, SDO forest department Mr. BK Shrivastava, Head of the Agriculture science center Mr. K B Sahare, Mr. Anto MP from the Sachidananda ashram, State Power Development corporation officer Mr. Prabhat Kanoje, and Head of the local Brahma Kumaris center BK Kusum were present on this occasion.

BK Kusum, while sharing her thoughts with the audience, said that the reason behind water, air and noise pollution of today is the pollution in our minds. This impacts the way we deal with our environment. In order to learn the art of existing in harmony with nature, we must turn inwards through Rajyoga meditation. BK Sadhna made everyone pledge to purify the five elements of nature with Rajyoga.

Mr. Dinesh Dewda said that we should accept our responsibility of polluting the environment and must plant at least two trees per month to counter this. The Brahma Kumaris organization is doing appreciable work in this area.

Ms. Shefalli Tiwari informed the gathering about the initiative of making food from bio gas in jail for optimum resource utilization. Mr. Prabhat Kanoje urged everyone to cycle more to avoid vehicular air pollution. Mr. K B Sahare said that yogic farming and massive tree planting is the need of the hour. Father Anto MP said that we should have an attitude of love towards the environment. The program also saw plays on environmental themes and tree plantation.
