Brahma Kumaris Motivate Divyang Wheel Chair Cricket Premiere League

Divyang( Differently abled )Service team of Brahma Kumaris in collaboration with Lions Club Mount Abu & Lions Club Sumerpur organised a Wheelchair cricket premier league tournament at polo ground Mount Abu on 11th & 12th of April-2023. Mission of Brahma Kumaris Divyang Service is “Empowering the persons with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness & equality”.

Mount Abu( Rajasthan): The first ever Wheelchair Cricket Premiere League  was held at the Polo Ground in Mount Abu.

The Senior members of Brahma Kumaris met with the players and encouraged them with blessings and Godly gifts.  This included BK Jayanti,  Additional Chief of Brahma Kumaris,  BK Sudesh, Director of Brahma Kumaris in Europe,  BK Dr. Savita, Headquarters Coordinator of Women’s Wing,  BK Karuna,  Multi Media Head of Brahma Kumaris, BK Suryamani and BK Manmohin. Pankajraj Mewara, Head of Lions Club, also attended this event along with his family.

BK Jayanti said that others will be inspired by the intentions of those who have come here today. Her blessings and good wishes are always there.

BK Sudesh said that these are world winners souls here. Victory is their birth right. Their smiles are indicators of victory and inspire others.

BK Karuna said that the real spirit of sports is that nobody is a loser, everyone is a winner.

Sanyam Lodha, MLA Sirohi, along with members of Lions Club and Brahma Kumaris,  were also present at the grand inauguration ceremony of this League.

Sanyam Lodha said that he will always support such initiatives fully. He assured that a full big ground will be made for the Differently Abled at Sports Village in Jaipur.

Sanjay Bhandari, Multipol Chairman,  gave full information about the program. He assured full support of Lions Club for such initiatives leading to the betterment of the Differently Abled.

BK Suryamani, National Coordinator of Differently Abled Service Wing of RERF,  talked about the equality and empowerment of the Differently Abled.

The final was between Delhi and Maharashtra teams, which the later won. The winners and runner ups were given medals and cash prizes. All the Differently Abled players expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards the Brahma Kumaris for all the facilities and arrangements.
