Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana Observed World Suicide Prevention Day

Ludhiana ( Punjab ): September 10 every year since 2003, is observed as World Suicide Prevention Day by  organisations, government, and the public collaboratively raising awareness for the cause raised by WHO.

Under the WHO theme for this year ‘Creating Hope through Action‘, the Brahma Kumaris of Ludhiana conducted World Suicide Prevention Day programs at Khalsa College for women, Guru Teg Bahadur College of Nursing and IiAE education society. Hundreds of students availed benefit from these programs.

Through a skit and a talk, the Brahma Kumaris Youth Team of Ludhiana shared the message of positively living life and the ways of effectively taking care of mental health to prevent and overcome suicidal thoughts. The activity of Letter to God and healing meditation was also conducted for students.

BK Sister Neeru, BK Sister Jaswinder, BK Sister Vijay along with Brahma Kumaris Ludhiana Youth group were present on this occasion.
