Brahma Kumaris join President of Suriname in Welcoming President of India

Paramaribo, Suriname ( South America ) : On the occasion of the commemoration of the 150th Indian arrival day, the Indian President Smt. Droupadi Murmu visited Suriname on a first state visit.

The President of Suriname Mr. Chandrikapersad Santhoki was very proud to introduce the Brahma Kumaris representatives to the President of India
Smt. Droupadi Murmu. She was very happy to have a short meeting with the eyes and greetings of namaste and om shanti with BK Bhola, BK Loes, BK Renuska and BK Jogieta from the BK center.

Although there were many rules and restrictions because of security and protocol, there were magical moments when the Presidents of India and Suriname on entering and exiting the venue, closely met with the Brahma Kumaris.

Suriname has a close historical bond with India, and is the country in the Caribbean were the heritage of culture, religion and language has been kept and blended the Indian diaspora in the community.
