Indore (Madhya Pradesh): On World Environment Day, the biggest global celebration dedicated to nurture nature, a tree planting and environmental awareness program was organized by the Brahma Kumaris of Gyandeep Bhawan at Gangotri Vihar in Indore.
In view of the special efforts made to bring awareness about the environment all around the world, the Brahma Kumaris organization has being given the observer status as an NGO by UNEP since 2014. The Agriculture and Rural Wing of Brahma Kumaris is making special efforts to take these environmental programs forward.
Senior Journalist Suresh Panchal, Environment Lover Mahesh Chauhan, and Chartered Accountant Suresh Gupta extended their auspicious feelings for the environmental protection program.
Sharing inspirations, service center Incharge BK Seema said, “With the oxygen level in the atmosphere going down, causing many breathing problems nowadays, we need to seed more and more oxygen-rich plants like Banyan tree, Sacred fig, and Neem tree.” She concluded by guiding everyone through Raja Yoga Meditation for radiating the vibrations of peace and power to nature.
On this occasion, Banyan tree, Sacred fig, and Neem tree were planted by BKs as a tribute to Dadi Janki, Dadi Hridya Mohini, and Dadi Ishu, the Former Administrative Heads of Brahma Kumaris.
An “Oxygen Model” has been set up at the service center in the form of an Oxygen Park, with all oxygen-giving trees planted here. Oxygen-rich plants were also distributed free of cost.
Maintaining the social distancing and other Covid norms, BKs meditated in the garden and radiated the vibration of pure thoughts to nature.
Describing the importance of Environment Day, BK Lalita guided everyone in taking a pledge of protecting the environment.

विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ द्वारा प्रकृति को समर्पित दुनिया भर में मनाया जाने वाला सबसे बड़ा उत्सव।
ब्रह्मा कुमारीज के ज्ञानदीप भवन ,गंगोत्री बिहार पंचकुइयां रोड इंदौर द्वारा आज 5 जून 2021 को वृक्षारोपण एवं पर्यावरण जागरूकता कार्यक्रम मनाया गया।
संपूर्ण विश्व में पर्यावरण के प्रति जागृति लाने के लिए किए गए विशेष प्रयासों को देखते हुए “ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ संस्थान” को UNEP मैं NGO के रूप में 2014 से पर्यवेक्षक का दर्जा (Observer Status) प्राप्त है, ब्रह्मा कुमारीज की ही सहयोगी संस्थान कृषि एवं ग्राम विकास प्रभाग इस कार्यक्रम को आगे बढ़ाने का विशेष प्रयास कर रहा है।
ब्रह्मा कुमारी ललिता दीदी ने पर्यावरण दिवस का महत्व बताते हुए पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए प्रतिज्ञा दिलाई। सेवा केंद्र प्रभारी ब्रम्हाकुमारी सीमा दीदी ने वातावरण में घटते ऑक्सीजन के कारण सांस लेने में हो रही परेशानियों के लिए हमें ज्यादा से ज्यादा बरगद पीपल और नीम के वृक्ष जो 24 घंटे ऑक्सीजन देते हैं जिसे लगाने के लिए प्रेरित किया। एवं प्रकृति को कॉमेंट्री के माध्यम से प्रकाश देने के लिए मेडिटेशन कराया, मंच का संचालन ब्रम्हाकुमारी प्रतिमा दीदी ने किया, वरिष्ठ पत्रकार सुरेश पांचाल , पर्यावरण प्रेमी महेश चौहान ,चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंट सुरेश गुप्ता जी ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण हेतु अपनी शुभ भावना अर्पित किए।
इस अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमारी बहनों एवं सेवा केंद्र के भाई बहनों द्वारा संस्था के तीन वरिष्ठ दादी ओ ने इस वर्ष देह त्याग किया,(दादी जानकी जी, दादी गुलजार जी और यीशु दादी जी) उनकी स्मृति में तीन पौधे (बरगद, पीपल, नीम) लगाए गए।
सेवा केंद्र पर एक “ऑक्सीजोन का मॉडल” ऑक्सीजन पार्क के रूप में बनाया गया है, जिसमें सभी ऑक्सीजन देने वाले पौधे लगाए गए हैं।
संस्था की ओर से ऑक्सीजन देने वाले पौधे निशुल्क वितरित किए गए, गिलोय का काढ़ा पिलाया गया , संस्था के भाई बहनों ने सोशल डिस्टेंस का पालन करते हुए गार्डन में बैठकर राजयोग मेडिटेशन द्वारा प्रकृति को शुद्ध संकल्पों का वाइब्रेशन दिया।
