Sarguja (Chhattisgarh): The Brahma Kumaris of Ambikapur in the Sarguja District of Chhattisgarh held a special spiritual gathering for members of the royal family of Sarguja and T. S. Singh Deo, Honorable Health Minister of Chhattisgarh. The program consisted of a spiritual discourse and ‘Brahma Bhojan,’ a special spiritual community dining of consecrated food offerings. About 50-60 members of the Royal Family of Sarguja were hosted at the Brahma Kumaris center on this occasion.
Sumeshwar Baba and Jugnu Baba, Senior Congress Members from Dhaurpur and Members of Rajkumar College; Amit Singh Deo, District Vice President, Lakhanpur; and Dr. Vijay Singh Deo Pratappur, along with BK Vidya were also present.
Sumeshwar Baba, Senior Congress Leader from Dhaurpur and Member of Rajkumar College, while praising the work of Brahma Kumaris said that people should dwell on positive thoughts and do good deeds, so that our society can take a new direction. The more materialistic comforts we chase, the more spiritually bankrupt we become.
BK Vidya, Incharge of Sarguja Brahma Kumaris, said that peace is the most important thing needed by people today. Spiritual discourse is like that effective medicine, mere hearing of which takes away all negativity, without making any other effort.
