Kadma ( Haryana ): On the occasion of their 40 years Annual Day Celebrations, the Rural Development Board of Haryana considered BK Vasudha, Centre in Charge of Jhonjhukalan, Kadma, for her relentless services for the upliftment of Society, to honour her with the “Deshbhakt Award 2019.”
Those present on the occasion were Magsese Awardee, well renowned in the world as Water Man, Mr. Rajendra Singh; Mr. Sohanlal, District General Manager, NABARD; Dr. Dahia, Specialist, Agricultural Science Centre, and Mr. Rajendra Yadav, President of the Rural Development Board. As audience there were hundreds of officers from many Social Service Agencies.
For a decade BK Vasudha has been awakening people to change the society through various ways such as “De-addiction Campaigns,” “Save Daughters, Educate and Empower Them,” ” Consistent Yogic and Organic Farming,” “Water and Energy Conservation,” “Clean and Green Environment,” “Spiritual Enlightenment” and “Positive Thinking,” etc., to mention a few. BK Vasudha was therefore being felicitated with a turban, memento and the Certificate of Recognition, the “Deshbhakt Award 2019.”
As Chief Guest Mr. Rajendra Singh, Indian water conservationist and environmentalist, stated, “The Brahma Kumaris are giving a new direction to society for its all-round development that is highly commendable.” He was all praise for BK Vasudha and said that her selfless services done with sacrifice and austerity shall definitely bring positive change in the society.
Mr. Sohanlal with his best wishes commented, “Brahma Kumaris Centre of Jhonjhukalan is encouraging farmers in rural areas to do Consistent Yogic Farming; this is a great social service in itself.”
Mr. Rajendra Yadav said that the “Deshbhakt Award” is presented every year to a social worker for his merits in service and this year the Rural Development Board is very proud to felicitate BK Vasudha with this prestigious award as the Rural Services done under her leadership during the past decade are specifically praiseworthy.”
Various cultural items were also presented for the entertainment of the audience.

“देशभक्त अवार्ड – 2019 “समाज में नशा मुक्ति अभियान ,बेटी बचाओ सशक्त बनाओ अभियान, शाश्वत एवं योगीक कृषि, जल संरक्षण, पर्यावरण एवं स्वच्छता के साथ-साथ लोगों को अध्यात्म व सकारात्मक चिंतन द्वारा समाज को श्रेष्ठ बनाने के कार्य में अतुलनीय योगदान देने पर यह दिया गया।
इस अवसर पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि मैग्सेसे पुरस्कार से सम्मानित विश्व प्रसिद्ध वाटरमैन( जल पुरुष) भ्राता राजेंद्र सिंह ने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था समाज को नई दिशा देने का जो कार्य कर रही है वह बहुत ही सराहनीय है इस क्षेत्र में बहन वसुधा द्वारा किए गए सामाजिक कार्यों कि उन्होंने मुक्त कंठ से प्रशंसा की और कहा की निस्वार्थ भाव से अपनी त्याग और तपस्या के बल पर जो कार्य ब्रह्माकुमारी बहन ने किया इससे अवश्य ही समाज में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन आएगा।
इस अवसर पर जिला महाप्रबंधक नाबार्ड भ्राता सोहनलाल ने अपनी शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में ब्रह्माकुमारीज झोझूकलां-कादमा सेवाकेंद्र समाज उत्थान के साथ-साथ शाश्वत- योगीक कृषि को बढ़ावा देने का कार्य कर रही है यह बहुत ही महान काम है।
ग्रामीण विकास परिषद अध्यक्ष राजेंद्र यादव ने कहा कि देशभक्त अवार्ड हर वर्ष समाज में उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं को दिया जाता है इस वर्ष परिषद् 2019 का देश भक्त अवार्ड ब्रह्माकुमारी वसुधा बहन को प्रदान कर गौरवान्वित महसूस कर रहा है। क्योंकि पिछले लगभग एक दशक से इस ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में जो कार्य ब्रह्माकुमारी वसुधा बहन के नेतृत्व में किए गए और बहुत ही सराहनीय है इस अवसर पर ब्रह्माकुमारी वसुधा बहन को प्रशस्ति पत्र, मोमेंटो पगड़ी पहनाकर सम्मानित किया। समारोह में अनेक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के साथ जल संरक्षण का भी संदेश दिया गया।
इस अवसर पर क्षेत्र की विभिन्न सामाजिक संस्थाओं के सैकड़ों पदाधिकारी गण उपस्थित थे।
