Brahma Kumaris Guwahati Celebrate Release of Postal Stamp of Dadi Janki

Guwahati ( Assam ): A celebration function for the Release of a Commemorative Postal Stamp of Dadi Janki, Former Chief of Brahma Kumaris, was organized at the Brahma Kumaris Centre in Rupnagar.

Representing the Postal Department, Chief Postmaster General R.K.B. Singh expressed that the department has been releasing postal stamps of great personalities from time to time as also on rich culture, and flora and fauna of the country. This time the department of posts is honoured by issuing a commemorative postal stamp of Dadi Janki for her priceless service to the society as a whole.

The Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University Prof.  P. J. Handique launched the Postal Stamp and paid his sincere homage to the great soul Dadi Janki. He stated that Brahma Kumaris has been tirelessly working for the wellness of the entire mankind for the  last 84 years by spreading the message of peace and spirituality. He expressed happiness that by releasing the Postal Stamp of the Head of Organization, the country has finally recognized this valuable contribution.

Earlier, Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Sister Jonali, Incharge of Brahma Kumari centers of Nalbari, Barpeta and Baska, introduced the organization to the audience and guests. Rajayogi Brahma Kumar Rakesh from Delhi briefed everyone present about the life and work of Dadi Janki.

Rajyogini Brahma Kumari Sheela welcomed the audience as well as guests and delivered words of blessings. Brahma Kumar Ramen Choudhury, Lecturer, Nogaon Polytechnique, read out the speech of Vice President Shri. Venkaiah Naidu delivered during the release of this postal stamp in Delhi on 12th April, 2021.
