Brahma Kumaris Global Hospital to Set up Oxygen Generator Plant for Covid Patients

Mount Abu (Rajasthan): In view of the shortage and increasing demand of oxygen for coronavirus patients, Sudhir Jain, Head of Mount Abu Hotel Association and Philanthropist, donated an amount of 20 lakhs 8 thousand rupees to Brahma Kumaris, for setting up an oxygen generator plant.  This medical oxygen generator plant will be set up at Global Hospital and Trauma Center of Brahma Kumaris in Mount Abu.

This plant will be able to produce 85 litres of oxygen per minute, 5000 litres per hour, and 1 lakh 20 thousand litres per day, which is sufficient to fill 15 to 17 large oxygen cylinders.  This plant will be set up by the Air and Gas Process Technology Company, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.  This will cater to the medical oxygen supply needs of Global Hospital in the coming times.

Abhishek Surana, SDM, informed that at present around 800 people are affected with covid in the Abu Road area. For this, a facility of 30 beds is available in Global Hospital.  He appreciated this effort by Mr. Sudhir Jain. BK Roja said that daily 25 out of these 30 patients require oxygen.  With this oxygen generator plant,  we will be able to supply continuous oxygen to 20 patients simultaneously.
